WinStyles is the old name for ThemeManager. Download Stardock Central https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/ and install the newest version of ThemeManager through it. You will have to create a STardockAccount, but it still should be free. Hmmm,I don't think you missed anything here. Have you tried and used the weather codes (from http://www.weather.com) instead of the ZIP codes? Most Objects use the wheather from this website and the codes might work better then just the Zip numbers. Just go the website and enter your zip-code. Then choose your city from the list (if there is more than one) and click on it. You should then get to your citys weather page. You will find the code

Hmmm, I don't know what to say to this other than that the Cabal drive-meters work on my system (using DX3 too). Are you running them as a widget (without DesktopX running) or did you import them into a DesktopX-theme? What do you mean when you say it is running but you can't make them showing up on the Desktop? Are they not visible at all? I you really think the current Theme you are using is causing the problems you can also delete all the contents of the c:\Documents and Settings\'Your Account Name'\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\Current Theme DesktopX will then start with an empty theme. I believe visual styles skin only the parts that are supported by UIS1, which means your skin doesn't need to be UIS2, since none of the newer features are skinned in the original VS anyway. Are they zipped when you download them? (e.g. ***.zip). If so just rename the zip file to *.curXPtheme and they should install normally. No idea why this happens but I don't think it has anything to do with the free version (it has previously been associated with upgrading WindowsXP to SP2). After a while (a couple of weeks maybe?) Do you use any docklets on the docks? It is often that the docklets are causing problems not the dock itself. If so, try to remove one docklet at a time to find out which one causes you problems.

What exactly did you purchase? If you only purchased DesktopX then you won't be eligible for the full version of ThemeManager. If you purchased the ObjectDesktop suite on the other hand, do the following thing. Uninstall the version of ThemeManager you installed with the Darkstar-suite (this is the free version) and install ThemeManager through Stardock central.
