trails don't install themselves automatically (at least not to my knowledge) it is therefore important that you put (unzip) them into your CursorXP\Trail folder. Did you do that?\ Most of the downloadable trails here are cursor-followers. Use the CursorXP configuration program and choose the Trail tab. Make sure that "Disable all" is not ticked. Then set the top most dropdown-menu to "Cursor followers" (I believe it is set to "Particles
Verinos, I downloaded Tiggz's k-dock and it downloaded fine as a dxpack. Did yours download as a zip-file? In that case just change the extension from .zip to dxpack by simply renaming it. If you dont see the extension you might have to go into Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options. There choose the "View" tab and unclick the "Hide extension for known file types" The christmas light should have the extension .dxpack as well.</fon
samven582: I searched for Darkzone an it came up with two different themes. One (most likely the one you have got) is a DX-theme and will need DesktopX installed to run https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/ , the other one is a Logon and will need Logonstudio installed https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/ <a href="../resources.aspx?cmd=
This is actually a very good idea os1smith. Object Dock plus does not have this feauture either, and I would like to see it implemented. I have in the past suffered from the same problem, constantly removing my most used shortcuts from the dock. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted
Happy Birthday Treetog! Have you made any plans for the next 50+ years? Whatever you do, please keep skinning!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/BigSmile.gif" border=0 ALIG
dianelaurain: The trails have to be unzipped into your CursorXP\Trail folder. They won't show up if they are just in your CursorXP folder. To actually use the trails you will have to do two things: 1. You will need CursorXP plus. The free version does not support Trails to my knowledge. 2. If you have purchased CursorXP you can set your trails by running the configuration Program. Choose the "Trail" tab and remove the litte c
Cypri: The themes have to be extracted to your ThemeManager\Themes folder they will not show up if they are just in the ThemeManager folder. Another way would be if you would just rename the zip-file to a suite-file. Double-clicking on it should then install it automatically. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/ico
p3dru: before you can use the bootskins you will have to download the Bootskins-program which is free. Use the link provided by Koasati in the post just above yours, to download the program. Once downloaded double-click on the .exe file and install the program. I would recommend to reboot your computer after this. Once everything is done you can downoad the different bootskins here https://www.wincustomize.com/Skins.aspx?LibID=32 . If you rebo
I think it is a good thing that all the talented skinners around here get their well deserved recognition. However, I am a little hesitant when it comes to "experience points" and other labels being displayed as icons besides the names. I can't help but thinking that it will cause some people to "hunt" for their points. I am a little afraid that it will cause a flooding of the forums with "What's in your bedside-drawer?" and "Tell me what you
Yes, same here. Everything was working ok until yesterday. This just started.
yea, remember this one to Eric. The sad thing is that it is still as actual as back then!
For what program do you want to make the background transparent? Windowblinds for example uses the "magic pink" (255/0/255) as a background colour, while other programs like OD use the native transparency of PNG files. Yeahhh, yepppeeee, the smilies are yellow!!
from another thread: Where did you get WB from? We believe there is an installer of 4.4 around which has 4.3 files in it rather than some of the updated 4.4 files, but we are not sure where it came from. Are you using 1) WB shareware 2) WB from ObjectDesktop (OD customer) 3) WB standalo
I wonder if it would help if you would decrease the Workarea on top, leaving, lets say 70 pixels for the Taskbar? You can do that in DesktopX configuration > Theme. It might not change anything, but it is always worth a try. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCus
This is a known problem with the newest build and should be fixed sooon. Hang in there!
Do all the other Logons work? I am not sure about that one, but maybe this means that the program is looking for a bitmap specified in your Theme.ini, but can't find this bitmap? Open the Theme.ini of your logon with Notepad and look at the mentioned line (14). If you have labelled your graphics the logon-studio way (e.g. Bitmap_100.bmp...) you could also try and copy a theme.ini from another (working) logon into your folder
If you have an AMD64 processor, make sure you have Windowblinds 4.4 or later installed.
You can however switch to the "narrow Mouseover effect" (in Dock settings > Appearance Tweaks). This might ease your problem a little.
In OD+ click on the "Dock Settings" menu. Choose "Content settings" from the left hand list, and untick "use task-grouping on taskbars in object-Dock". I don't use OD as a taskbar, so I don't know whether it works. Please let me know. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted v
You might have to enter your serial numbers into StardockCentral? In the lower right corner of StardockCentral you should be able to see "Registration Info". Click on it and make sure that your Object Desktop serial number is entered there together with the email address under which you purchased this subscription. I would also recommend to unistall the trial/free versions you had on your system before installing the full versions through Sta

by the way.......i'm using firefox 5.0 ??? I thought Firefox 1.0 is the newest version?? Do you mean the Mozilla suite? But I think they are only up to 1.7 there as well? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinC
Are you talking about GT3 Windowblinds skin? And are you logged in as an administrator or just a user in your system? Is WindowBlinds starting automatically at startup?
