You need to specify exactly which skin. This site has skins for over 10 different programs and it is a little difficult to help you if you are not specific about what you want

If it downloaded as a zip file you can just right-click on it and rename the zip to dxtheme . After that you can just double-click on the file and it should install. If you can't see the extension open your Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > View > and click on "Hide extensions for known File Types" <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCust

I think this is due to the fact that a lot of the files got moved to a new server recently. If a theme/suite file is only a couple of KB big then that means that it consists mostly of URLs and that the actual files are not included. All the MacPC-files I found (there are three of them) on the other hand are several hundred KB (or up to 1MB) big and therefore include all (or most) of the skins needed in the download file. I am not sure when and

Grrr, I just lost the hole answer thanks to a bug in the WC system..... ... lets try this again. The logon-screen is only really shown if one of the following applies: 1) You have more than one account on the same computer 2) You have at least one account which requires a password to be entered. since the logon-screen gets bypassed and Windows boots up without asking you for a password, I suspect you have

I am not sure about the widgets (I don't really use them) but desktopX objects can be locked if you right-click on the object's background (layer) > properties > relation > and choose 'locked' from the dropdown-menu next to 'movement'. 'Normal' means the object can be moved, 'default' depends on your default DesktopX settings. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted vi

DO you have any toolbars installed with Internet Explorer? I know that WindowBlinds works very well with IE, but I also heard of problems with some toolbars installed. Try and uninstall any toolbars from your Internet Explorer through "add and remove programs" in the windows control panel. If you haven't installed any toolbars yourself it might be that they were installed illegally by some spyware-program (IE is notorious for that). If you ha

You will have to change it to a .wba (not wbl) file, but yes otherwise you can just rename it and it will become a windowblinds skin file. However, some files might not work if you do it this way. In that case just unzip with your usual program, then take a look at the folder (open it). If there is another folder in there move this to your WindowBlinds-folder. and no worries, English isn't my first language either <img src="http://images.star

Which Windowblinds are you using? I am not sure whether I fully understand you. Do you mean that you can't connect to the net when you use the tray for Wincustomize? Or do you mean that you can't see any webpages when you are running Windowblinds? Please try to formulate your problem a little bit more in detail And on another note: On the Internet; using capi

Norton Antivirus is sometimes a bit overzealous. With which DestopX theme does this warning occur? Or does it occur with all of them? It is very unlikely that the script in question is really malicious and you should be fine just to tell Norton the next time to ignore this script in the future and let it run. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCust

I am not to sure what you mean here, but I downloaded Black XP and it downloaded as a .wba file and installed without problems. I tried to do the same for XP Jeans but the libraries were down. You obviously seem to be able to see the extensions. I am also not sure what you mean with "doing maps". I suspect you mean 'folders' (from the German word "Mappe"). The thing is, if you create a folder and unzipp into that folder you will have a folder

I once had the same problem. After auto-update SDC, I got the same message. When a did a search for "loader.exe" it wasn't anywhere, in fact I had lost quite a few files out of my SDC program. I decided then to unistall, download the last SDC-file from Stardock and reinstalled. This solved my problem. Did you reinstall with an archived Version of SCD or did you download the installer from Stardock? I would recommend to download the newest inst

And what are you exactly arguing about here?? 1) There are msstyles authors who (freely) gave their permission to port their themes to WB and redistribute them here on WC. Those ports were available long before SK did have the ability to import msstyles. 2) There are msstyles authors who were asked and did not give their permission to port their themes. Those ports were never uploaded (or if the porter tries to, will be rejected by th

hosstyle: to go back to your original logon run logonstudio (you should have a shortcut to this program somewhere in your Startmenu) and click on the button on the bottom that says "restore Default XP logon". Which logons can't you find? The ones you just downloaded or the ones you have already installed? Do a search for the Folder "LogonStudio" (I can't remember where it installs by default). In there you should find all the logons y

This might be related to your boot.ini file. Hit "Run" type in 'msconfig' and on the first page (under 'General') klick on "use original boot.ini' If this is already clicked. Try to edit your Boot.ini according to this Microsoft Help file: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=289022. Be sure to exactly follow theyr steps (especially the step about backing up your Boot.ini) before you attempt to mess with this important file. <img src="http://im

The only two real free 3D programs I know are Blender 3D http://www.blender3d.org/ and POV-ray http://www.povray.org/ Both are open source and therefore freely available (without add or spyware) to the public. Like all 3D programs, the learning curve is pretty steep, but in my opinion Blender is a little easier to understand. I think Maya is actually based on POV-ray but just puts an easy to understand interface on it, while POV-ray n

Maybe your version of ODlmg.dll is corrupted? When you unistall OD, does it remove this file? (The version you have in your Program Files\Common Files\Stardock folder). I did another search for this file on my computer and I found that I had a newer?? version of the same file in my Stardock\SDCentral\Backup file. If you have that as well, try renaming your current version to ODlmg.bak and move the newer version to your Program Files\Common Fi
