I have this same problem. I have dual display system, and every time I start my machine up, some widgets + icons have moved completely OFF of both screens. I've also seen some widgets 'disassembled', with their layers separated into different locations. I don't know if this is because I have two monitors, but sounds like moving widgets is a bug. Hopefully this can be fixed for the next release - how do you submit a bug to them?
