That's wonderful! I'm so excited for you. I felt the same way when my husband was coming home from the desert this past December. I had all these things to get done, but I was procastinating like mad. Have fun with the hubby! *hugs*
I think you are right, Angela. It's not our job, at least now, to say "Look how horrible and cruel this world can be". It's our job to show our children the blessings life brings. It's also our job to help them understand when life does throw them around a bit and hurts them. Oh, and some people like getting troll ratings apparently.
I think everyone buys things that are unnecessary things once in a while. As long as you aren't spending so much that you are unable to feed your family. pay your bills, be prepared for emergencies etc. I think you're doing all right.
