Hi basj and Neil, I figured it out with your suggestions... I had W11 search selected and not Start11 search for Start 11 Menu. When I changed that to Start 11 Search, the text types into the search bar on the Start11 menu on the screen it is initiated on. When I change that back to NOT Start11 Search, the typing reverts to the default menu, dropping the first one or two characters as the focus transitions. Did I find a bug? Hi Guys, I just downloaded the Beta and Explorer crashed before the Fences Settings even appeared. Cycled "Fences detected that Explorer... etc" until I "End Task"ed the fences process and uninstalled the Beta. Pity, I really enjoy this app and my clutter-free desktop. Hi Sean, DXDiag shows the driver as version 27.20.100.8280 dated 5/19.2020. I use the HP Support Assistant to automatically check for and download the latest approved drivers and firmware from HP, so this should be the most recent approved driver for IRIS graphics. Cheers, Philip

Hi Basj, I've done a bit of experimenting and can say that the Intel Iris Graphics is the likely cause... First: Attached a USB-C mini to my Spectre (the spectre has USB-C, USB-A, headphone jack, SIM slot - nothing else). The USB-C mini has nothing fancy, USB-C passthrough for power, USB-A and HDMI. With my external monitor attached and Deskscape running, no variation in poor performance. Paused Deskscape and everything is fine on both monitors. Second:

Hi Basj, The Spectre runs at 3840x2160 at 200% and I have two external monitors connected via a HP dock, both running at 1920x1080 at 100% - all in Landscape. The Spectre internal graphics is Intel Iris Plus (driver version 27.20.100.8280), and the dock shows up as HP USB-C Universal Docking Station (device details show as DisplayLink driver 10.0.82.0). Hi basj, OK, so after 4 download attempts (corrupted, try again), I installed 1903. Uninstalled DS8, rebooted, installed DS10.01 and selected a wallpaper first and applied it as asked for in a previous post and that worked. Selected Tropical Underwater dream and applied that. The preview is still the wallpaper and the dream did not appear on the monitors. I stopped the dreamscape service applied it again and started the service, still no dream! Here's what it looks lik

Hi Dcrew57, I understand, but I'm in Australia and when I run "Check for Updates" on my PC it says "You're up to date". So I don't know if the latest W10 ver is not available internationally for some reason but I'm stuck with Microsoft only providing me the version that I have, so at the moment I am running DS8 happily without issues. YES - I am having this problem and thought it was only me until I found this thread, so there is definitely something amiss with DS10.01 and the latest Windows updates. It worked fine until about 1 month ago, but being End Of Financial Year here in OZ, I was flat out and just put up with it... Hi, I think this is more of a Windows 10 problem than a WindowBlinds problem, but here goes... When I click the Start button and then an alphabet letter to "shrink" the menu to active letter sections, the menu that was visible remains in the background of the alphabet, and when an alphabet letter is selected to "jump" to that part of the menu items, the alphabet letters remain overlaid on the menu items making it very difficult to read. OK, I've played with it a bit now... I can't see the righthand 3 squares for min, max, close on the titlebar which is shared with the groupy tabs whose colour bar extends over the top of them. I can click them - very carefully - by positioning my mouse just below or above the coloured bar, so they are there and working, just not obvious. Is this a beta glitch that will be fixed?
