will the Start button be animated?
No, I wanted to animate it and even created the animation for it, but... WB still doesn't do both an oversized start button AND animate it. I was hoping that had been corrected but, not yet. However, the current button works and looks very nice (not to mention sometimes you just don't need animation ;) )

"An apparition, living or dead, that may appear shortly before or after death. Their appearance is often considered to be an omen." -- Wikipedia, 2008 -- I've already previewed this to some and have been running a 'creation diary'' at Skinning.net for the last month plus. But, very soon this skin will be ready for consumption. The next edition to the beloved dark skins..... Wraith <img src="http://skasch.com/images/Wrai

the funniest thing about these sidewalk art photos is they only look right from one angle as it has to be drawn stretched in order for the perspective to work properly. Ita almost as much technical as it is creative and artful...

I tend to agree with some of the others in that I don't care to install MyColors. I understand that it probably works very well and there are few problems with it. But, as a long time user of WindowBlinds and the other applications by Stardock I'm more pleased with not having to install yet another 'theme manager' like program. MyColors is a great way to get new users to easily apply themes and change thier UIs. The encryption is also a useful and effetive way to keep Star

Mines all the same as I've had since Sept. but I've added some memory. One PC used daily and an older laptop used for XP skinning only (hell I gotta update the thing soon so I can skin XP again, ugh). :) old pic but nothing much has changed (except the screenshot part hehe) [link="http://skasch.com/images/newpc_1.JPG"][/link] Specs... --------------------------------------- Cooler Master Stacker 830 Case<b
In SKS 5 we could add a button and set it to be added to the frame when rolled up but you can't seem to do anything like this with SKS6.
I havn't tested this but you could try to edit the code so that these are present... Visibility=5 (only visable when rolled up) Action=-1 (Do nothing, just show image, does not interpret mouseover) ...not a clue if that would work but anything is worth
SK...there are 18 colors in Control Panel.I think its the color between 12 and 13.(thats missing)
Fixed and new colors added to the Task Dialog Buttons (also edited wiki page)
If you do have a specific problem then your best bet is to e-mail me directly.
I got to agree with IR, we ALL want to know... if you know what these colors are please by all means fill us in on the ones we are missing :/
I havnt seen color 1 yet...what dialog did you see it in SK?
Yeah that ones a little 'obscure' so to speak. Its the default highlight color. When you open a Task Dialog window there is usually an automatic default control that is already highlighted. This default will fluxuate and in its highlighted state (closest I can think of to call it). This color will show for the text as shown below... Thanks IR I added post #11 (including to the wiki) but I'm not getting what your saying in the text part of #12 as there are 7 colors there and you only got 6 listed and they don't seem to correspond to whats in your image... could you verify/clarify pl-l-l-lease :)

I've only had SKS6 crash on me during 2 incidents. The main is when applying a skin when WB is not running (ie. applying the skin when no skin is already applied), this causes SKS6 to crash every time for me. The other was when I completely deleted the XP Shutdown/Logoff sections for the Buzzz skin (which I had no intention of skinning for XP anyway and didn't want the 'stock' images in the file). I haven't noticed any of these others ~shrug~
some of the questions/requests here were already adressed a long time ago, like this one from January 2 (half a year ago!!!!!)
yes but there have been many updates since then and one never knows (without asking/testing) sometimes if that has changed. Skinning Vista is still relatively new comparatively. Some things have been added to skinning Vista and I know for a fact more features will be coming (like being able to skin the 'Large' IE7 and Explorer Navigation buttons). It n
