Please keep this post on topic. I've subscribed to it and was bummed to find off-topic stuff. I'm doing my best to keep track of what's reported here and address it. Keeping it on-topic will definately help

If you want to use test.wincustomize.com, all you need do is enter in the term you want to search on ( for all libraries ) in the search box in the upper right corner of the site and hit enter. ie. http://test.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?search=fun

This is with 5imple by daniloOc. I don't want to pick daniloOc out, but I knew it happened with his skins. Other skins do it too. Older, non WB5 skins seem fairly immune. Might also be Firefox related, believe it or not. Switching focus from FF to OE makes the toolbar grow every time (on susceptible skins). ROFL <STRO

Where's my menu at the top??!!! Press the ALT button, or right click the toolbar and choose to see the menu bar. Im actually pleased that the menu bar has been hidden. Never used it much. As for the forums refreshing. Firefox has serious issues with it's website caching 'intelligence'. And it has issues with the forums.

Ok, Please use Start > Run 'cookies' to remove cookies. That is, unless your browser stores cookies somewhere else. And in that case, please go directly to that location. The forums are a different site than joeuser.com or iconoclasts.joeuser.com. Many people dont realize that, as they look very similar. The forums uses a more advanced login method from the www.joeuser.com site. I'm going to recap what you tried, please let me know if

Hey everyone. I'm hoping some of you can help track down the source of the login problems that you're experiencing. When I first came to this post, I was already logged in so I didnt see any issues. I logged out and back in without any trouble and went over to joeuser and logged in without any trouble. I logged out of both sites; forums.joeuser.com and joeuser.com. Deleted cookies with 'joeuser' and 'stardock' in the names, just to be sure that I was logged out. Revisited joeus

https://forums.galciv2.com/error.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/index.aspx I tend to get this a lot when going between forums/links. Also have a serious problem posting. Before the post runs away from the original topic... While we appreciate it very much when people let us know about problems with the forums, error r

Just wanted to let people know that I have published a very updated build of the forums. It's now running off the same core components as the Wincustomize 2007 project and should prove faster and more reliable. I've also fixed up a few issues that people were having, namely with regard to editing replies. Unforatunately this update does not include a fix for the bbcode. I'm still working on getting the regular expressions, which handle the bbcode, as efficient and accurate as possible.

Ah, never could get into anime in any form. I'll pose the question to the people who make the big calls and see if we cant find a common ground between the forums and the articles. One thing to note about editing your replies(which function the same way on WC2K7). You're only allowed to edit a reply you have posted if and only if: You are a moderator with that abilty You are an access level higher than a moderator You are attempting to edit the las

recently everytime I attempt to change the size of my comments in WC forums, the bbcode "]" bracket gets changed to a >. I end up having to edit my post to correct this. Here's an example: size="2"] " after I select post comment. I'm afraid that this isnt a bug. It's the new bbcode trying to pl

The default font size for the article comments and the skin comments was set lower than the main site, and lower than the older sites which are adding font tags directly to the database. I'm unsure when an update will be posted to correct the skin comment font size issue, but the article size issue should be resolved now.

We've been attempting to track the issue for some time. We're stretched a bit thin at the moment and working on some of the other major sites, but are scheduled to do some maint. on the forums soon.

It's been my experience that people who are technologically savvy are more prone to check out alternatives. I've not yet run into an average user who was consumed by the Firefox propaganda machine. I still have a few friends left at school who are using Firefox, but can't tell me why they're using it instead of IE, only that someone recommended that they should. Opera has been making some pleasing

Anyone who has chatted with me in IRC (or in the office) concerning browsers knows that I can't stand Firefox and that I've been looking forward to IE7 for some time now. However, that doesnt mean I don't have a sense of humor...
