I apologize if you mistook my reply for anything other than a sincere attempt to gather information to help you with the issue that you're facing. Information on the hardware you are running (especially graphics and memory related) are very important when troubleshooting WindowBlinds issues. When users purchase stardock software an account is created. This allows our customers to log into these forums and also assists our support staff as we can gather details on the software purchased.

Please post ALL your system info. The developers are the only ones who can say what's useful and what isn't Also, if you could let us know which account you registered with and used to purchase Windowblinds we might be able to assist you further.

None the less, its still good to report when anomolies occurr. I'll have a look at the editor in firefox and see if I can get it to act up like you had. There may be something I can do about that at least.

Using firefox 1.5.0.7 and following your descriptions of the issues I am unable to reproduce any of that behavior. I'll probably need a specific set of steps to reproduce. I can't comment on the issue if youre seeing it using editComment.aspx on the main wincustomize site. All I could do is forward the report to another developer (dean).

As per usual I need a URL of the page on which you're editing and the version of Firefox you're using (why do I have to keep asking for this?). If you're using a beta version of Firefox then you're on your own. To use the preview tab semi-effectively (as it hasnt been completely finished) you have to exit view source mode.

ehh.... not really.... nevermind that the new symbols aren't near as classy as the old ones. I couldn't disagree more... The old icons are jagged, gawdy, old-school-gif-style and definately aren't classy. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width

It's a caching issue, sometimes a db issue. In either case, good to know it's not throwing an error, but rather displays *some* data. (and you replied with this in the Suggestions post. Please use the Forum Bug Thread post instead )

Well reading the reply in an email could have two negative consequences... 1. The reply has the potential to be enormous. This takes more bandwidth to send, a longer download for the user's email client, the possibility for an enormous amount of text in the email. 2. One less page-view. Page-views are very important to a website in order to track the popularity and userbase of a website. We want to encourage page views, not provide a mechanism to prevent them.

Bebi Bulma : I haven't seen that bug in eons. I need to know what editor you are using, the Advanced mode or inline mode. If you're using the Advanced mode, check the options tab to make sure you're not in Pure HTML mode.

Well it's going on four days now since I've posted my program, Rumshot , on BetaNews' website FileForum. While Kapsules was in it's hayday, I would always post it on FileForum and it would usually take about a day to get looked at. Stardock Apps don't even take that long to get approved, and rightly so ;) However, for someone trying to promote a piddly little app and get the word out, FileForum is frustrating the crud out of me. 1. Should be fixed now. Firefox lacks proper JS DOM support, that's all I have to say about that. So much for standards. 2. Fuzzy, how do they not make sense? Theyre damn near identical to the old... Bebi, are you talking about having the content of the post or reply in the email? If so, I can pass that suggestion along (would help if you replied in the Suggestions post as well) but it's not likely to happen.

This really is a cool program! I just started using it, and even made my own skin! Maybe we should consider adding Rumshot skins to the library/gallery? If we can get enough interest going, maybe! In the mean time can you send me your theme?

A little self-promo, here's a screenshot preview I created with Rumshot in under a minute. It's also took the desk shot that It's linked to (although Imageshack resized the actual screenshot). I prefer things on the minimalist side of things at home.

Rumshot is an application for Windows similar to SnapShooter (Mac OS X) . Rumshot is designed to create a beautifully framed preview in a few seconds, as well as taking screenshots of your desktop. Rumshot supports themes for its previews. While Rumshot ships with only one default theme, you can download the extra Theme Packs, or easily create one. Rumshot makes it a snap to generate a stylish preview image for posting your screenshot on the web with no need to have or use Photos
