Please do trust me when I say that we have taken special care in taking a look at the requests and complaints made. You're just not going to see an instant change however. There's also no time frame that we can promise for any updates. We're working on it everyone. And while the forums may not be pleasurable for [you] to use at the moment, I would plead with you to exercise some patience while we work on this.

We have a brand spakin new one coming your way, but it wont be up for testing until next week

Follow these steps... 1. go to http://metaverse.galciv2.com 2. log in 3. go to the 'Accounts' menu at the top 4. click 'Edit my characters' 5. click 'Add Player' button The rest should be straightforward. The forum search will also help you with questions surrounding the website and the game. I would reccomend running a search for any questions you might have.

You have to go to the Empire's homepage, not your empire. Because you are a senator, does not make it automatically 'your' empire. Currently senator functionality is pretty limited. If you are a senator for an empire you'll see an 'Edit Empire' button on empire page.

RE: Opera incompatibilities/junk - As stated before, the editor is being worked on. It's a long, bumpy and frustrating road dealing with Opera's js engine.
I'll have a look at the moderator controls in a little while and let you know what I find. EDIT: Ok, check now and see if you have your moderator controls.
Island Dog, I see your image just fine. testing posting image in ff Yeah, works for me in firefox 1.5.0.3 Sadly Opera does not work. FYI - The editor is getting a major overhaul. Lot's of fixes and updates to it are pending.
The main forum listing no longer contains sticky posts (see explanation to Jafo above). Click on the forum name in the header or the 'More' button to see a full list. We did this for a reason, as for some forums there were more sticky posts than we could reasonably display and it was preventing people from seeing the actual user posts that were coming in new. So far, this has been met with warm acceptance by most. I just made an update that should resolve several issues.

Update Posted 9:17 AM EST. FYI - We're working on drastically upgrading our text editor; both the WYSIWYG editor and the plain ol' textarea editor (for new posts and replying).
