Still having issues with IE7 and the posting toolbar, but I'll live with it. Beta browser versions are not supported, Sorry. Not too bad... a bit different and a bit plain... only thing I think I'll miss is the

Safari is not supported, sorry. The updates to posts is not a bug. It's a database matter. I've published an update that should resolve the line break issues.

Why not make the Advance view the default? It's clear and easy and for those who don't need the extra functions . . don't have to use them. To keep the page uncluttered. If you want the advanced functionality, click advanced. Otherwise, leave a quickie. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quote

deleted my original post as it doesn't recongise any line breaks or formatting using FF1.5.0.4 I have been unable to reproduce this problem. Please start a new post on this issue in the Site Issues forum. (That goes for anyone else wishing to follow up on the issue as well, please) <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center b

I can't get from one page to the other. For example in this thread, I can see posts 1-50, but then I can't change to 51-53. I tried it forward and backward, on the top of the page, as well as on the bottom. No go. Also, I can only post in advanced mode (otherwise I get an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"-error, and my line breaks don't show as well

The timer is a two fold solution. It helps prevent people (who, for the sake of optimism, we'll assume just dont know any better) from hitting the Refresh button or F5 key billions of times and making duplicate posts. We've seen the number of double/duplicate posts reduced significantly since this was implemented. It's also a way to prevent spam. By limiting the number of posts per minute a user can make at the server, we're effectively slowing down any would be spammers. Enough so, t

Hello, I'm afraid I'm going to need some more information on exactly what is happening when you attempt to join or leave an empire. Also, please list your operating system, the browser you are using and the full version number of the browser you are using. Please be aware that the metaverse website will only function properly with IE6 or Firefox 1.5.0.4. Unfortunately the metaverse does not function completely with Opera, Safari or any other minor browser.

The codebase running forums.wincustomize.com has been frozen, as it's being replaced by the new codebase running forums.stardock.com. While I can't state exactly when the transition will occur for forums.wincustomize.com, I can say that issues with Firefox and Opera have been minimal at the worst and there is no functionality currently limited, disabled, inhibited or otherwise negatively influenced by browser type. (With the exception of Safari, but that's just silly talk <img src="http://images

I'll have a look at the Opera issue and see if I can't find a fix. We switched to a new AJAX implementation which is incredibly more stable, reliable and easier to work with. However, seems to disagree with Opera. I won't dismiss the medals issue with Opera, but I can't promise a fix in any amount of time. For those following this thread, have a look below the 'Recent Forum Posts' section on the forum home page. You'll see a new 'View Today's Posts' link there which will take yo

Simply put, if you don't allow stardock's websites to communicate with eachother, then the sites will not function properly. We use several repository servers to store images, scripts and css and most of our websites link to and share data from these various servers.

We have a solution for the tooltip issue and will be publishing a fix early this coming week. Good bug with regards to the metaverse medals issue. That's something noone had caught during testing. I'll be having a look at that Monday morning.

Firefox loves to cache stylesheets and sometimes doesnt release the cache when it should. We've only seen this a handful of times with IE, but firefox has been a pretty big offender of that with the new forums.
