Guys, you're missing the boat entirely. If I'm going to diagnose this problem here, I need specific steps. As an example; 1. I click this button 2. I put this url to this image in this box 3. I click this button 4. I type the following text 5. I hit enter 6. I hit this button 7. .... etc Your example replies don't do anything to help me see the problem as it is happening. I need extremely specific steps. I'm going to close

Since this seems to be a phantom problem that comes and goes, I'll add it to the list of things to give special attention to when Wincustomize receives some more attention. Until then, please follow the suggestions that others have made in this post for how to resolve and/or get around the issue.

When Wincustomize gets an update we will be giving special attention to the persistent Ad problems that people have been having with the site. For the time being though, the answer will be; - Log out, close all browsers+tabs, log back in. - (If that doesnt work) Clear your cookies, close all browsers+tabs, log back in. - (If that doesnt work) Clear cookies, all temporary internet files (cache), close all browsers+tabs and the log back in.

Please dont reply with 'is it done yet'. All I can answer with at the moment is; It's fixed when I fix it. You can count on me letting you know when I've had the chance to fix an issue. I've also appended the Moderation Policy post to reflect that ;)

I'm going to consider this post a report on the IE6 issues and the recent posts update speed, and will be moderating out reports of any other issues or tangents reporting other issues in the same post. If you have other issues, please create a new post outlining in detail what those issues are along with the usual bit of information we need (browser version, page url, etc) I will update the css to remove the wild navigation layout issues for IE6 this week. PLEASE DO NOT make subsequen

Sorry angus, but we can't support beta versions of browsers. When IE8 is released outside of Beta you can count on full support for it.

PoSmedly, you're not a newbie bud. Please start posting in the correct forum. 'Site Issues' is where this belongs ;) The dual login issue has previously been reported (I know the search function isnt the best right now, so I won't complain). It's a known issue. Please pass the following information along to those who may report the same problem (or link them to this reply by hovering over 'Reply #5' and copying the link. That's a new feature btw) The logins for the main Wincus

Another test [e digicons][/e] with some more text and another no issue seen Moving ahead I will be asking for very specific steps to reproduce issues for reporting editor function issues. I'm finding that 99% of reported issues are just a matter of understanding how to use the editor. We've been using an outdated one for so long that people arent used to the new fancy.

Please dont add 'bump' replies in the Site Issues forum category. I review this forum many times a day. (And if I'm gone for a day, I review it when I get back) Testing inserting an image: I have no issues inserting an image in between text. I was even able to drag the image around the body of this reply. Firefox 3.0.1

Correct. The login system that the forums use has been updated. This is a good thing. It's faster and more flexible and is allowing us to do some really cool things. However, websites that aren't getting frequent updates, like Wincustomize, are still on our older system. For these sites you'll have to log in once for the main site, and once for the forums. When Wincustomize gets some attention later this year, it will be updated to run on the new login system and this issue will magically dis

Thanks for all the praise and props and all that jazz. It's nice to see that people like what we're doing. Unfortunately a lot of the replies in the post are exactly what I asked people not to reply with in the last line of the post. So instead of going through and removing [the replies I normally would] I'm just going to lock the post. People, for the sanity of those of us working here, please make a new post in Site Issues if you have a problem/issue/bug with the forums or t
