Mark: Good one It still is difficult terrain. I understand that if you just rename bitmaps it's a rip. Now if you recolour, say, a gradient coloured bitmap into a solid colour, I am not sure anymore. If it is still a rip then you can't use the size of the bitmap for that particular attribute anymore. I am wondering, if one uses the same paintprogram and the same size of the bitmap of an original skin, and you recolour the bitmap you can speak of ripping? Especially when you are encouraged, and you want to make your own skin, to look at how other people did it. I am no expert but I can imagine a whole lot can turn into lookalikes...People see certain idea's and want them to implement in their skins too. The only thing you can do is say thanks for idea such and such from skin such and such...J
