I think you are talking about "Bob", a theme that was originally made by Microsoft. I believe there is a version available here for desktop X. Just take a look in the themes section of desktop X.

Larry, If you go to your mouse properties, and look in Pointer Options, there is a section for "Snap To". If you uncheck that box it may solve your mouse jumping problem, though I don't guarantee it because I am usually wrong! lol. Worth a try though.

The first time I arrived at Skinz.org, I was totally blown away with everything on offer! I tried just about every skinnable program there was, (even if I didn't need it or didn't even know what it was for!) and I built up a huge collection of stunning wallpapers by some incredible artists. Then I discovered the message board, and some great people like JSenn and Jafo and China etc. The day that Shoggot slipped up, (lol) and let one of my wallpapers through, was one of my proudest moments ever,

I use Photoshop 5.5 for everything I do. Like Jafo, I also love my optical mouse, which I use on a large piece of green baize from a roulette table! It makes it super smooth to use, which is good when I am shading with the airbrush tool, or erasing (which is very often, lol). I used Kai's Power Tools 3 for a while when I started, but since I read 2 million tutorials I don't use it much any more. My other invaluable tool is my image viewer. I think it IS possible in Desktop X. If the taskbar image was entirely 255 0 255 (magic pink), then you could place it anywhere, invisibly, and the icons would float on top of it. Shouldn't be too hard to do. I used a similar effect in my "Notes" DX theme to re-create the wharf from Litestep.
