Bill, if he's so good at making mouseovers, let him make his own theme! The reason I made that theme as I did was to retain the integrity of the wallpaper image, which is a great piece by a great artist. That original image was destroyed by this rip.

Can anyone tell me if you can skin the taskbar in a DX theme?, (not via window blinds, but within the theme). And is it possible to have some kind of systray that can be placed anywhere on the desktop?

Where is Shoggot?, I miss him. He is probably the person responsible for me being here now. I was lucky enough to get my first ever wallpaper past moderation at Skinz, and it gave me so much confidence. I didn't get another past him for ages after that. This is a very nice little program, and even I can skin it! I shall have fun with this.
The two people I admire most are two whose work I came across when I first became interested in desktop customization. They are: Bob Starck-Higgins, who mainly makes Talisman themes. Layne Karkruff, who works mostly on Mac stuff. His "Desktop Consoles", and Kaleidoscope stuff are magnificent. I'm still running a PII 233MHz with 128 mb ram, an 8mb matrox card 3gb hard drive and 15" monitor. I hate the thing, and would give anything for something better. I will say this though, since I installed Win ME, it hasn't crashed once! about 5-6 months now. Please contribute to the "Buy BoXXi a better system fund". Thank you.

You don't say which kind of files you are downloading. More information is required before first aid can be administered. Also, I don't know if downloading to your desktop is a good idea, I personally have a special folder called "Downloads", and I download everything to that. But I doubt that it's that which is causing your problem.
