I recently purchased Desktop X,but when I installed it, I was not asked to input any serial numbers or anything. If I go to the configuration window, and click "About", it says "Registered to:" and the space is blank. I have re-installed it several times, but at no time have I been asked to enter any registration details. I have made sure that I was connected to the net when I installed it, as instructed, but still no joy. I e-mailed Stardock support, but they just sent me a "Registration FAQ",

But someone mentioned a system about skins and themes being automatically uploaded to all the skinning sites at once, and if this one was full of nag screens, wouldn't people just download the skins from one of the sites that doesn't nag?. That theme, and many more older themes are still available at Litestep.com, which appears to be up and running again. Just go to "downloads", and there are hundreds of themes. I even managed to find the classic "Rising Edges", which was the first theme I ever downloaded and spent about 2 months trying to configure, lol.
