You could also put your newly reduced in size page file on a second drive, and putting all pictures on the second drive also. With a gig of memory, I don't even use a page file. And with the page file and my music and pictures on the second hard drive, there is hardly any lag in transfer or access as the pipeline is not over the same IDE cable as the core OS.

You might make sure that your firewall isn't blocking SDC. You could also try a clean install of SDC. You would have to make a copy of your themes, etc and place them somewhere that is easily remembered and found.

You should do the following: 1. Copy your "Themes" folder froom c:/program files/stardock/object desktop/windowblinds, save it somewhere that is easily found, ie. desktop or My documents. 2. Uninstall all versions of Windowblinds. 3. Download and install windowblinds, first 4.6 then 5 4. Make sure to restart system. 5. Copy your old "Themes" folder, the one you copied to the easily found spot, to the c:/program files/star

I think it is possible by layering your gradient opaque image over the image in question. there is an article by Mike Bryant I think, "WindowBlinds went tranparent crazy". Explains the in and outs of making those cool features yourself. Link There is the link to the article I am talking about.

The 4x/8x should be no problem, but make sure you get the right voltage 1.5 or 3. Your motherboard manufacturor should be able to tell you what your mobo is equipped for voltage-wise. Yes you should be set to upgrade easily.

Sorry, Thought I already posted my reply to this one. You should be able to post by going to the LogonStudio Gallery. At the top of the listings, there is a link "Submit a skin". Click that bad boy and follow steps. I have not tried uploading anything yet, but that should be what you are looking for.
