IPlural, the reason you find it so boggling is that you don't have complete information about the situation. My comments about not using this site (Wincustomize) enough to justify a subscription have nothing to do with my being a customer of Stardock. I use PMMail2000. I have similar problems (although slightly different gibberish and formatting) with SquirrelMail, which is a pretty standard webmail interface provided by a lot of ISPs. No, I don't want the London Times, I just want something usable. "Boggling"? No wonder the economy's in the crapper - if people find customer feedback "boggling".

Is anybody else tired of the mess that is the Wincustomize e-mail Magazine? I want this information (thus I am subscribed to the mailing), but there is so much HTML and CSS crap that is is becoming impossible to read. Whatever is being used to generate the newsletter doesn't form compatible HTML/CSS so I'm left to hunt through the junk to find the actual content. They can pay their internet bill but cannot pay for a subscription? The world's not quite that simplistic. 1. If we're talking about younger people (as the post you quoted is), they're not paying their Internet bill - their parents are. 2. Libraries, school labs, work computers, etc. Not paying for their Internet bill.

So I'm wondering how *I* fit into this community scheme. Skins are something that are mildly entertaining, but I only go hunting for some once every few months or so.
