All I have is a laptop, so yes And being able to run on 800Mhz laptops is great even if you have a better one: Battery life. GalCiv2 is one of the few games I can play on my laptop without being plugged in (unlike, oh, I don't know... Civ4)

You lost me at Michigan too... I'm actually further north than you, so the weather would be an improvement, but moving the whole family to the US is a no go for me... too bad though, you guys make games I'd be proud to work on. If you ever open up a Windsor location however, and are in need of someone who can handle rendering or just general gameplay stuff, let me know

I got absolutely slaughtered in my first game as a result... within a couple of turns I was gone, with no chance to defend. Damn Drengin! On a completely unrelated note, reading some older forum posts I noticed a mention of "Stardock Canada", to which I have three questions... does this mystical place really exist, and if so where, and if in Ontario, are there any programmers needed?

RTS battles in MoO3 did suck! Why? Because the human player (you know, the guy or gal that paid money for the game) couldn't really tell what the effect of "his" designs had. There was no real tactics involved. If players cannot tell what the effects of their designs have, then there is no point in letting the player design ships. </TA

Snap-Back sounds great! If it is added in, it would be nice if it delayed a second or so before snapping back, giving you a chance to make another rotation.
