Well considering the program is made by stardock and this is a stardock website, I'd say they aren't paying themselves anything.

I originally wrote this post when there were fewer than 20 posts here on the topic, but my internet connection went down for 12 hours. Unfortunately I don't have the time to read through everything else right now since there seems to be a fair number of long posts in this thread however I will add my own thoughts on the matter and check back later. Cheating is a personal preference. It'
Your ideas on spies remind me of the way spies were handled in Imperium Galactica 2. In that game in order to get spies you had to build a spy center on a planet and it would give you a slot that you could use to hire one of the spies that would show up every few months. You could build as many spy centers as you wanted and therefore have as many spies as you want. Each spy has many different missions that you can send them on depending on h
I once found a PQ24 planet. Colonized it and ended up getting a moral choice. Improve the planet colony and sacrifice some people or do nothing. Here's the kicker though, the PQ bonus from this even was 49% That planet ended up doing more than just about the rest of my empire.
Alright! My new t-shirt arrived today with it's neat little Terran logo on the front. I'd post a picture of it, but unfortunatly I have no batteries that are not dead so my camera doesn't work. Also, I blame Stardock for my being late to school this afternoon. My shirt arrived just as I was about to head back to school, but of course I couldn't leav
@LogicSequence Except that's not what they are talking about. All the attacks they are referring to are individual shots fired within one single fleet to fleet battle.
Can't say that I have buyer's regret. I haven't actually played the game that much, however if I had payed more than $50 after taxes for it I might have been a little more upset. I seem to be spending more time on here reading all these posts than I do actually playing the game. There just seems to be something off about the game when I play it that doesn't allow it to hold my attention for more than an hour at a time. That and I hate white interfaces.
The only drawback I can remember off the top of my head is that you forfeit all trade income.
Even with habitable planets set to abundant you still have nearly half the galaxy filled with useless planets.
Personally I hate to see waste in my empire. When I see my fledgling empire struggling to build all the buildings I need on some planets and then wasting billions of credits on others that have finished the initial building spree, I just think that there has to be a better way to do things. It would be so much easier for me personally if I had spending sliders on a per planet basis. I don't mind a little micromanagement if it means that those extra 50
First post here. Got my picture here and a grand recounting of my perilous adventure to my local EB Games! Things had been tough. Watching everyone on these forums have such a great time playing the game on release day. I had stopped of at EB on my way home from school, but alas they had not recieved any copies in at that point. It would be friday before I got another chance to get out to the store to look for the game. I would have to wait. Days passed me by as I waited
