If anyone feels like petitioning to find out the real body count in Iraq here is a link. http://www.countthecasualties.org.uk/ I know it is british based but hey any real number would be better than guessing.

Damn second is from a news paper based out of the UK. Basically they also did a survey of Iraqi households and this is where they got their figures from as well, between 30,000-100,000 as well. I found an American Millitary website reporting 20,000 civillian deaths as of Jan. 2005 but I tend not to trust the pentagon as far as I could throw it.

Maxwell what the hell are you talking about. My cousin lives in Birmingham and has told me stories about the numbers of protesters that lined the street after George Bush got re-elected shouting 4 moron years. The British people do not like George Bush or Tony Blair, and i'm pretty sure he will not win by a landslide, seeing as how his approval rating has dropped significantly after he decided to join us in our oil escapades.

Island Dog after reading all of your comments I am thoroughly convinced you know nothing about politics, rather you think you know something about politics and have a shallow hatred for liberals so instead of saying anything relevant to the blog you insist on sitting here bashing liberals. I think you should quit blogging. As I said in my earlier post it does not matter if you are Dem or Con this should not be allowed and the american people as a whole

Why rip on NZ for one thing, it is a beautiful country, not a backwater country in the middle of nowhere or whatever it was you said. Second of all, the US is mildly imperialistic, this is a fact. Invading another country and imposing your beliefs of government on them is imperialism, it is what the British did in India, and is what we are doing right now. As far as the US being a TD, maybe not yet, but if it ever came to that point in my lifetime I ca

A great deal of this is due to the fact that everytime something big goes on, all you hear is PRESIDENT RAISED THE TERROR ALERT SYSTEM TO NEON PINK or whatever stupid color it is. We live in a society of fear, people who are afraid consume more, and it is good for business. If anyone ever sees the terror alert drop to green which means no threat of attack, please let me know, because the gun shop where I live will probably go out of business.

The only thing i can say i disagree with is the gun issue. The right to carry a concealed weapon might help people protect themselves, but it would also make it easier for a criminal to rob someone, or end up with two people shooting at each other in a public place. I really agree with welfare, especially where i live, they are like leeches, they come into a store dressed in fur coats and driving cadillac's and Jaguars and then pay with welfare checks

Actually they have evidence, bank transactions, video tapes of him on vacation in the Bahamas, ect. It seems like he might not get off so easily this time.

Yes, the solution to our nations needs and best interest will not be served be either the Republican or Democratic parites the way they are operating. There are far too many special interests and people who are more interested in keeping themselves in power. Exactly, and especially with the fact that ou

Using political contributions for anything other than a campaign is highly illegal. This is where DeLay has broken the law.

It wouldn't be so bad if Bush took a few liberal ideas for once, like importing drugs from Canada so that they don't cost as much. The fact is you complain that some people are too far to the left. What about the fact that even old school republicans say that George W. is too far to the right. I think a good choice for GWB would be to adopt a policy that works, now that he does not have a vote to worry about securing he could stop being so stubborn and

Col it seems like they will do anything to support their party, even if it includes justifying wrongs because some democrat did the same thing. It's hard for me to remember the last time I saw a republican actually say, you know, you are right, maybe we should adress the problems of correuption on both sides of the board. They are too afraid of what they might find on their side.
