Not to rain on the parade, but I've noticed with ODM the same problem I've encountered with SDC - it doesn't correctly recognize or 'see' all the software already installed (true on more than one rig here). I've therefore avoided using it and just use the MyAccount page to do updating.
I noticed the same thing before my reinstall of windows. I didn't know if it was ODM, my PC, or what causing it.

I screwed up with this when I had to reinstall Windows. I didn't realize how it had changed from the old one and did not save the the actual install (exe) files from the apps from ODN. Since my sub had expired , I was only able to download the premium skins I had payed for (My Colors, Premium Skins, Master Skins) and I was able to download ObjectDock but none of the other apps that come with ODN. Be sure to save your installation files (and updated installation files)!

Isn't a big part of the problem is that IE is one of (if not the the number one) targeted browser for hackers? I think they rely/count on the majority of the uninformed to be using it for all their personal stuff ? All the popular browsers have their own issues. I just know how hard it was getting my wife to switch to anything other than IE because it was just outside her comfort zone at the time. Now I am trying to get her to try Chrome and it's the same thing all over again.
The University of South Carolina has come up with a unique fix for IE. Today they removed IE from ALL employee computers. They have told the employees they may use Firefox or Chrome instead. At first I thought it was just one department's IT that was doing this but apparently ALL the IT departments were told by the main USC IT to remove IE from all computers.
I hate the heart cath. It was the first time a doctor said 'Now you're gonna feel a BIIIIIG stick!' right before he stuck that needle in my groin. Granted I was high as a kite on premeds...and his name was Dr. Rhama....and when he walked into the procedure room and said 'Hellp' I may have responded with something like 'Dr. Rhama..Doctor Rhama-Noodle you're so cOOOooool' cause he was...cool you know.
Done and done. [e digicons][/e]

I bookmarked this and read it and reread it. This is a great post and I want to thank you for sharing it. It's huge. It's often easy (for me) to talk about what's bugging me or getting me down but I never mention the depression that comes with it. Like mentioned in this thread, you worry about labels and what people will think...even your friends and family. I've been estranged for years from most of the people that know that I battle depression. The reason I am adding
Has this been resolved??? I ask because I may be using paypal when I have the $ saved up in my PP account. (Been doing surveys to make some extra money)
I half expected to see someone jump in here and say you techinically should not do this because of copyright infringement or something...especially since the icons are packaged in a specific program for a specific purpose. That said... Use 7zip to extract the icons. You don't even have to change the file extension. Just right click and select extract files. 7zip is open source, free, and 100% safe. <a href="http://www.7-zip.

By far his best and funniest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRPcYcaggNE Just try not to eat or drink anything you might accidentally spit at your monitior. ;)
My wife and I spent a Saturday night pausing his 'I'm Starving' show every 5 minutes cause we were laughing so damn hard. There were times when we thought we might pass out from laughing. I was so sad to hear he passed. I know when he gets to the Pearly Gates, St. Peter's gonna point at him and say 'You go, now!' laughing and then say 'Just kidding. C'mon in. The buffet is fully stocked and to your right.' <p style="text-al
I remember all of those apps as well. ObjectEdit had to be one of my favorites. Thanks for the answers on my stuff. I'm gonna try installing OD with the product key I have and see if it's still good. I'll have to wait on the rest. I may install ubuntu on a partition so I can play around with customizing that in the meantime. edit: ObjectDock installed fine. Thanks again!
Okay. I had to reinstall Windows. I'm confused on the ODNT and what I need to do. My subscription expired last year and I don't have ANY of the apps backed up at all. I have all the premium skins and master skins I purchased backed up, but none of the actual apps. There is no issue (that I am aware of) of over- activations or anything like that. So, do I need to be saving to purchase a NEW subscription or can I still just renew even though I don't have it i
I'm gonna guess that she is the 'One' of which you spoke of earlier and she probably expected Superman to come save the day like he did for Sandra .
One should be aware that this is NOT a part of the film, 'Gravity', but rather an edit that alters the original ending with something rather comical.
Who is this 'One' of which you speak ?
Happy Birthday! You're gonna have to fight him for your birthday donut.
I like this app but these 'big' updates make me nervous. SmartDefrag's 'big' update added the ability to update itself AND throw in a bunch of crap like toolbars, etc. that you're only lucky to catch and stop. Avast, which has long been a favorite of mine, has expanded browser cleaning, software updating, browser monitoring, rescue disks, etc. I don't want to knock Avast, but I have to admit I was more comfortable when all they did was anti-virus fo
Well... that did not work out very well at all. SO..it will be a while til I get ODNT. Still not sure what I did wrong here. [e digicons];P[/e] I was 100% sure I had it all backed up and a back up of the back up on my external HD.
If I was using it for my television ( I don't purchase enough online to use it for shipping) I would keep it. It's only a few cents more a month than Netflix after the increase.
Po...........I believe that all you have to do is sign into your Stardock Account on the Stardock website and you'll find all the progs you previously purchased are archived and you can re-download them. It only shows Objectdesktop is expired and does not list the individual pro
I uninstalled Firefox completely. I found I was to addicted to the damn add-ons. I didn't even use (let alone 'need') a number of them. Firefox was also just getting to buggy. Firefox seemed to just become all-about-the-add-ons more than anything else, like you shouldn't or couldn't use it without them. I like Chrome now. I like Chrome's add-ons and I use way fewer of them than I did with FF. The ones I use are more integrated to my needs and what I
I'm not sure what i did but for some reason Object Desktop Manager has decided that I don't have any Stardock software on my computer. My subscription is expired and I'm concerned because I may need to re-install Windows on my laptop and I don't know how it will effect trying to reinstall my Stardock stuff. I was actually wanting to do some skinning and make sure my stuff was as up to date and backed up before I started messing with Windows and I don't think I even have th
