From the article, I understand how it might help with some road issues. Especially the bridge example they gave. But I'm unclear as to its applicability on your average road vs. a little thing I've heard some call ice.
Initially, it means you can have an OS X machine next to the Windows PC. The Windows PC would be the one with the keyboard and mouse attached.
BootSkin does not work on x64. We may do an update to do a "simple" bootscreen option for it, which would replace the image but not the progress indicator. Not something for this month though. WindowBlinds has it's x64 version available, as does Multiplicity. WindowFX is in beta. IconPackager is coming (though the 32-bit one mostly works, there are some things we want to tweak). Other x64-related things are simmering here and there.
The OS X version is next at bat. This might be something we could add prior to Linux support as a secondary. We'll see how the summer unfolds.

If you boot Knoppix to the desktop, I believe you'll find it's going to mount the drives automatically. Which will stop the partitioning from working. unmount them first. umount /mnt/*
With one of the mini-distributions linked, you can probably get away with downloading only some 100MB or so. Though I suppose just the first fedora CD would be required.

How does your logic track there? As opposed to being an emotional gut-check "because". I would like to point out that contacting support would have worked wonders for this, as we've had builds available internally for testing that we've been providing to people who experienced this problem. As would the 1.00h Multiplicity Pro beta on Stardock Central, though at least 2 people have reported its not connecting right after upgrading (which we're still chasing down).

I would like a kill -9 equivalent. If I can see the process, apart from very core system ones, I would like to be able to kill it. A fancy window that says "this app may have hung, why not wait and see if it comes back" isn't what I'm looking for. I know its hung, let me get rid of it. Is 3/15/05 9:02 454,656 wcfiles.dll the file in the SDCentral directory? Or is it 3/01/05 6:12 454,656 wcfiles.dll (same size, different date, different contents).
This is sort of a "best of" skinpack with 5 skins. There isn't a $5 suite on Essorant's site with all of these skins.
