As he wasn't in the photos I saw, no, I'm not sure. I did find the people who were in the photos framing the President... well... let's just say I found it something something. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/09/04/national/nationalspecial/04bush.html?hp&ex=1125806400&en=23cce9f23aa42f66&ei=5094&partner=homepage
Where's Waldo: National Security Edition If I may ask a question about the man I didn't vote for: where is Dick Cheney? The last time we had a national crisis he was tucked away with some Stonecutters and Monty Burns faster than I could grill up a steak. Katrina is not planning a secondary strike when our guard is down. Yes, fine, he was there for the speech at the Rose Garden today, but... you know... that was a photo op because they know they've bungled their
Did not President Bush ask for people to get out, including by some things I've seen on the news, asking for the evacuation (even if it was Sunday)? http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/08/28/national/main798819.shtml I found this interesting reading earlier: http://www.cityofno.com/portal.aspx?portal=46&tabid=26 Especial
And you must have a LDDM-compatible video driver running. If you were running the Vista beta.
This and the other couple of download link problems that popped up over the weekend have been fixed. I'm not sure exactly how it happened, but I'm convinced it was my fault.
Also: nice margin on that 20GB drive aftermarket!
I'm going to buy all the next-gen consoles. So what really matters to me is when my local shop gets the package to fulfill my pre-order. I will say I am disappointed that there doesn't appear to be a HD or (afaik) some flash memory around in the basic kit. Which means unless they've done something clever, require you to preload some compatibility profiles from a disc or online prior to playing Xbox1
I'm not sure why it might have logged you out of WC vis a vis the cookies. There are a couple of pages like msstyles.com (owned by Stardock) as a portal to WC. It's not a phishing scam. Kris
Time warp. 4.5 was in January. 4.51 in April, iirc.
The refreshing of settings and the skipping a space on the desktop bits have been corrected in the build I updated on Friday.
Reinstalling DesktopX would also have done it. Not clear why that didn't update right, but we're adding more tracking for the future.
Please make sure there is not an iprepair.dll in the IconPackager directory. If there is, attempt to delete it. If it won't go: Start / Run regsvr32 /u "C:\program files\stardock\object desktop\iconpackager\iprepair.dll" and reboot. Then remove it. Uninstall the enhanced dialog beta as well if you're running it. Without physical access to the machines, the symptoms sound like the iprepair.dll issue from early this month.
I would need a lot of specific details if the Ctrl-Alt-Backspace isn't working on machines with 1.02 now. I've tried testing it lots of different ways here, machine on a domain, machine not, passwords on, passwords off, require CAD to logon, etc. And I'm no longer able to reproduce problems with it.
Yes, LiquidGuru, thank you. And the reason the file sizes wound up different when I resynced is because I forcibly updated the version resources on the files to make sure they were updated. It's the same build.
I trust none of us have a papal grant of infallibility.
Below are the files that should be in the RightClick directory. Please make sure yours are updated. If it asked for a reboot earlier and you might have deffered that for later, please do so now. I don't have easy answers tonight, so far we're not able to reproduce these crashes. Worst-case, zip up your RightClick dir, remove Either the files below or the whole directory, and see if this is happening with a totally fresh install. 9/30/04 17:32 &nb
You've added shortcut flyouts to My Computer and My Pictures and it's crashing when you go to them? If it's reproducible, visit https://www.stardock.com/products/smartexception and follow the directions to install SmartException. Email the .cra and .dmp files in produces in \program files\stardock\smartexception to [email protected] .
I've stopped IIS on the servers and made sure the file sync'd so it's reporting 1.10 properly now.
I made sure the versions were updated, but I think there's an About box somewhere that's not resyncing on the server. 7/25/05 16:08 1,589,340 RightClick.exe and you should be all set.
And per my other post elsewhere, ignore that the Stardock Central update window is offering DX Pro. It won't do the download for it, but that shouldn't be showing there. Need a new SDC build to suppress its display.
I have rechecked all the download links and serials (there was a serial bit set wrong and the DesktopX 2.x links weren't changed). Everybody should be all set now for standalones.
The current build of Stardock Central is inappropriately showing that some people can "update" their DesktopX install to DesktopX Professional 3.1. Please untick that box if you are using the updates window. It's not going to harm anything if you don't (it'll say you've updated to DesktopX 3.1 Pro, but won't really download the files to do it, unless you have a registration for it), but I can see where it would cause some confusion. We'll get that fixed in the next SDC updat
Trying something else briefly this morning. If it doesn't stay happy, I'll probably turn JU back off until the team is back on Monday.
