Thanks for the info. As for the bug I reported, let me make myself more clear. I have a save game where I've colonized something like 15 15+ planets. All of a sudden, _all_ of the planets have no resources to spend on either military or social projects. Research also takes forever. However, my income is something like 200 per turn. No matter how I mess with sliders, the situation stays the same-- no planet will spend resources on the projects I have assigned to them-- the

I've only started two games, but in one I was right in the middle of several other empires and in the other I had the most breathing room of anyone else in the galaxy. YMMV, Me
Why don't the colonization ships pick the highest quality planet rather than just the first planet in the list? It seems like a more reasonable default... Me
Right now, I have a save game that, in spite of playing with those sliders every which way, won't spend resources. Every planet says "No Resources" (military and social) and the technology screen says 1000 months to research shields. Should I send someone a save game file? This has happened to me twice now; it happened, I used "restore empire" and then a few months later it happened again. As an aside, how interested are people in spelling/grammar mistakes? Should we wait fo
Or pehaps even [email protected] ... ;)
Me too! ([email protected] ; [email protected] -- not sure which one is my current drengin.net)
I just don't feel qualified to contribute to most of these threads... When is the next roll call? hagmanti@{various places, not sure which is associated with my CM}
Seems like a good point to me (still no alpha access :( ); however, I think that Stardock can be trusted to get the scale right, and I like the idea of the different ships being differentiated more. A freighter should be the slowest thing in known space... ;)
I wouldn't mind seeing screen shot of what's currently out there, also. Just my $.02, Me
