Good old times of fancy skinning. Too bad the OSs evolved into a direction where you can't add many things we did in the past. Updated a skin like Synthek for Windows 7 is near impossible. Recently I made one called IronWorks that where fairly simpler compared to Synthek and was quite difficult to build it without glitches.
Good tip Spancer, Adobe TV always have some cool tips and tricks involving the new features of Adobe prpducts, I always go there check what's new.
That's nice :D
Cool stuff, good memories :)
Awesome, can't wait to see lots of cool designs.

stunning work, I'm glad to see it's now updated :)
I will talk with Neil and see if we can do something to help on that :)
I think that there's no reason to bother with those files at all as this will not affect your final work and this will not matter to the users at all. if you're still annoyed by that as you're designing a Windows7 only visual style, here is what I did (as I only design for Windows 7 for a while now) Make your Windows 7 skin and then make and add some generic parts for the XP sections, with generic, I mean some design that would work we
This is probably a skin cache issue. Try open the skin folder and delete the cache files, they're files with the extension .wb4 and .wb64, then reapply the skin. I made a BAT file that can do this automatically for you if you want. 1 - Download this file https://dl.dropbox.com/u/416294/Wincustomize/WB_cache_killer.zip 2 - Extract it to the Windo
Congratulations.
Damn! That Xandar skin looks gorgeous, almost missied it, found the visual style cause this link. Cool skins.
lee3908870 : the UI is directly respossible at how well the application performs. To make it more understandable, I really don't like how the new UI (user interface) affects the UX (user experience).
I would recommend making a copy of the folder before deleting any of those files.....I have screwed up many skins by over zealously deleting "extra" files.
You can safely delete those .wb4 and .wb64 flew, they're recreated/updated every time you open a s kins on SkinStudio, save the skin, or even when you select a skin on WindowBlinds UI.
Nice podcast. I'm still reading the Steve Jobs book, he is a icon in the tech world and really changed the way I work.
Looking good.
Sadly, a huge step on the wrong direction (just like Windows 8), on the UI side, looks terrible and way too plain.
/me likes new shining things.
I want a beer!
Dang good looking theme :D
That's awesome!
Not sure I'll be paying 40 bucks to 'downgrade' from Windows 7 to Window 8 :P
That's nice to see people organizing themselves but I would rather post in least places (if not one), it's easier to check out.
