First of all, balance issue. I have just nearly won the game in very strange fashion. I concentrated on getting inventions with survey ships, so I got technologically much ahead - I just used survey ships - I had 5 of them - to research anything with more than 3 weeks to research. Then, I simply changed one of the expensive inventions (Star creation, I suppose) for all planets from all civilizations, thus exterminating them. I suppose the planet value in diplomacy should be much higher

So, I uninstalled all and tried to reinstall with /d- it crashed... I wanted to send debug.err, but by mistake I deleted it... Anyway, there was just 2 times retry to download one file (coreships.md_) and then some "file not exist" line... Nothing exceptional apart from them...

Strange it may be, however, using /d option seems to solve the problem... I am in the middle of download of Multimedia, and without problems ... Nice piece of coding, anyway :d

Hello, I have checked galciv for the first time, I tried to play for longer time... Anyway, when I got to be able to have more than 10 traderoutes, and wanted to check them in economy screen, game crashed to desktop. Another crash - 2 land invasions in one round caused crash to desktop as well. To be more useful, is there any formalized way how to report found bugs?

I think it is good idea (and it is in my belowed Imperium as well ;)). Maybe it would be good to be able to set up "Just how many turns are made when I click next turn button". Of course, some events should cause "Interrupt" to such turn sequence.

And, this idea I like the most, because its mine, you can manually deduct some portion of production do build infrastructure. The better is infrastructure, the better is production and/or production capabilities.

Sorry, about the 20% it was just example - lets say planet class / 5 rounded up, or something like that ;) Usability of population is nice point as well. Again from Imperium from EA (its just my beloved game :) ), there was "planet infrastructure ranking". It was rising in time (faster with bigger population, and subsidy - but I dont know about subsidy in GalCiv) , lowered by wars and catastrophs, and it reflected how the planet performs generally.Maybe it would just require to h

Maybe it would be enough to derive growth from planetclass - +1% a turn for class 1, +20% a turn for class 20. OR, make a choice between growth and production for the planet - if the people are having night shifts, growth is slower ;) Or, if you remember Imperium, there was a slider to set pro- and contra- population policy, the reason was that crowded planet started to loose efficiency since some point.

Hello, just my voice for AI. AI might be not so important for casual Age of Empires player, but real strategy player tends to get disgusted by cheating AI. IMHO, game with cheating AI has no much of replayability value - this is why I like Imperium from EA (extremely old game) from 4X games. Terrible controls, poor access to information, but computer does not cheat (just has more resources on start). Please, dont give up AI - you are my only hope for really good game in these bad times
