Hmm, so the problem is a worm, an outdated driver, or just my crappy system huh? Wrong on all 3 counts. I have an internet security program running, I do regular updates to it, I do regular virus and anti-spyware scans, and I have all the latest drivers for my system. I agree, you shouldn't have to install a secondary program to update software. When I had GCiv1 on my computer I wasn't able to uninstall stardock central at all, I kept getting an error when trying to uninstall it! Maybe they fixed that by now, I was going to install it anyway cuz I need my space strategy fix, but I agree that it is kinda lame. This game should not have been released, it is full of bugs! The game is loading automatically, to the autorun screen, when Windows starts. It began doing this on it's own yesterday, with BETA-1, and now also with BETA-2A. conquered planets have 0 production in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I am playing a game of 'accelerated start' on normal difficulty. I've noticed that every planet I've conquered lacks any manufacturing buildings. How the heck is the AI building anything? If they are buying all their buildings and ships how come I can't get away with that? Is the AI cheating or do they have really big treasuries? Maybe I just haven't found their production center planets yet. It is annoying conquering a world that I can't do anything

Bug in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I have had several instances of getting a CTD when saving. The file that was trying to be saved is then corrupted and unloadable (actually produces another CTD when trying to load that file upon restart of the game). I'm playing the downloaded digital bonus pack. I have the latest drivers, ample disk space, DirectX 9.0c, blah blah blah. Ship design crash in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I'm getting a CTD from the ship design screen, every time. I'm not able to save a ship design when I click on 'save'. After nothing happened, I selected 'done' instead. After the screen changes back to galaxy view the window for the ship design save pops up. When I click on it, I get a CTD.
