I'm a film cg artist, and the software I use (Lightwave) is 64bit, which I have run up to now in XP64. So keeping the 64bit route is quite obvious for me to keep improved memory useage and stability. There ar ecertain 64bit vista headaches that are yet to be addressed in terms of drivers though. At any rate, it turned out the install was not able to handle my decond monitor being connnected, so disconnecting screen two until after the install solved the problem. Cheers!

Hey Fella's I'm really hoping you guys can shed some light here, cos everywhere else has drawn a blank. I have Vista Business 64bit, which I clean installed to a seperate partition (D drive). The install proceeds and completes perfectly normally, but when Vista does it's final reboot to start for the first time and wrap up the installtion, it freezes on a black screen (with a small line of coloured dots in the top part of the screen). When adding tasks for thinksync, I click browse, and the dialog appears ok, and I can browse My Documents ok, and My Network Places. However, when I try to expand My Computer, it hangs and I have to end task it. I think it may be caused by Anopod Explorer (RedchairSoftware) which shows up within My Computer as an Ipod icon which allows exploring of Ipod music...so it acts like a virtual hard drive almost within wndows explorer. I have set up PNG's to be 'kept safe' only when modified by fireworks8, but it just doesn't register files being saved. If I don't restrict it to fireworks.exe alone, then it DOESpick up PNGs modified by Trillian, but still nothing for fireworks. Any idea? As this is a major floor which will for the time being make keepsafe as redundant as ThinkSync... which is shame, cos it works a treat for my Lightwave Objects & Scenes. Thanks<

When is the next version of thinksync coming? The fact the auto syncing created 0KB files makes it as much use as a fart in a spacesuit.... and I'm honestly quite put-out that with such a major bug in it, that it still hasn't been done. I know it's a alpha/beta.... but it is a pretty fundamental error whic could surely have been fixed specifically and re-released? Cheers!

Keep Safe is Fantastic. Multiplicity I personally have to use for. Secure Process. I'm still not entirely clear what this is actually for, so no comment. ThinkSync. This is still happening, if you manually do it by pressing the sync now button, it then creates correct file, but when auto monitoring, it always seems to create 0KB files. Still using FolderClone for now. This needs fixing ASAP, as the program is of little use until it actually works on a basic level. I look forward to when tis function works correctly. To say that "Most 3D modeling that you see in movies, TV, and games is done using either Maya or 3D Studio Max" is slightly to broadsweeping, however I do see lots of Maya users being very uneasy about where Maya will be headed. I think an interface smarten up without changing it's base layout and functionality wouldn't go amiss.... but I hope Maya doesn't suffer for this merger. And I speak as a Lightwave user, I don't even use Maya.

Copy activate.exe from within the sdcentral install folder in to the windowblinds install folder. Once you have done that, try and apply a theme, and it will pop up a requester to enter your email & ODNT serial. I just did that, and mine works now. Cheers!

My dll is the correct size as it should be. And I rebooted, and tried uninstalling 4.5, rebooting, installing 5, and rebooting again, all without luck. Doesn't matter whether I click the apply option to the left, or in the centre, WB5 refuses to entertain any notion of applying skins now. Incidentally, it wouldn't auto archive the pre 5 install, so its buggered now *DOH* Hoping for a fix, cheers!
