Well... I've upgraded the nVidia drivers to 163.71 (by uninstalling and installing new from scratch). This has meant I have now downgraded nView to 111.17. And I still have the original problem. So I have to either Disable all nView settings, or just for 'explorer' (using the nView Applications tab) to workaround. oh no - mines ok now - totally and I have mine enabled, so perhaps its one of

Neil - IE7, Office 2003 SP3 - all apps work fine, just get this with Windows explorer-based windows, if you know what I mean. Have an app running that will crash and from a command prompt run tasklist /M > log.txt and then open log.txt and find the section for an app which does the crash & post the modules listed for it. Silverspider: Look in the Event viewer (controlpanel -> admin tools) as it may list the crashes with a crash address.
