When someone asks me, "How are you?" I rarely tell them the truth I always give a standard answer. Something like "Fine, and you?" If they keep going I just turn it around on them. I start asking them questions like something is wrong with them. Why don't people get the hint? I'm very happy that people are concerned, and want to make sure I'm all right, but surely people would realize that if you ask once, and that someone says they're fine, that you woul

had a cousin who was losing her hearing. Come to find out, she was filling her ears with unpopped popcorn whenever they had popcorn. How weird is that? VERY weird! Did they ask her why? She wanted an ear of corn?
He's released me to return to work on Monday under the conditions that I don't tarp any loads or lift more than 50lbs for the next two weeks when I have to follow up with him again. I know you're stubborn and don't like listening to doctors, but I do hope you heed the 'witch doctor's' advice. Don't let the adrenaline of being back on the road make you think you can do more than you should. Take it easy, my friend. I would hate for you to re-injure yourself.
Geez. I don't feel old. Well, ok, maybe my body does at times, but mentally I don't feel old and I'm still as mentally sharp as I've ever been. It's funny how it sneaks up on you. I don't feel old at all then I go get my drivers license renewed and they ask me my birthdate. After I give it to her I think to myself, "Damn, I'm that old? WTF?" It may sound weird but mentally I'm so much younger that I was surprised to hear my own age. <img src="http://images.st
So did you only finish the other 6? Or did you get another 12? I say the news was so good you should've gone with the JD Black.
To me, I would find it hilarious if Sanjaya won the whole thing. I mean I hear stories of how the show will be a farce and how some of you won’t ever watch AI again? That is why he is still on the show. It's funny how people take it so serious. That is why the website "Vote For The Worst" is pushing for Sanjaya. The same reason Howard Stern is urging all his faithful listeners to vote for Sanjaya. Just to piss everybody off. You should go
The fact is I haven’t felt like this for years because I’m very happy. When I was single and not so happy, or at least trying to figure out what it would take for me to be happy, adventure days were necessary. Not common but necessary. Reading your article I started thinking about all the adventure days I would have and realized I haven't had one in a long while. It's for the same reason you mentioned. Though my adventure days are no longer necessary your art
Growing up I never got along with my father. He loved me , but I was so different from him we couldn't have a conversation. My relationship with my mother was the complete opposite. We talked all the time. Saying that there were times when I was a teenager when we were at odds, and it seemed I would be harder on her than my father. It wasn't because my mom was a bad parent because she was a good parent. It was because my relationship with her was closer. Like my mother, your parenting
I'm a fan of any good music. I have heard of Ulver, but I have never heard one song from them. So what did I do I went and downloaded 'Operator'. It's a wild tune.
"Stray Cats Enter Home, Attack Woman, Boy" On SNL's Weekend Update they said, "In Nebraska, 2 stray cats entered a house and attacked a woman .... while Brian Setzer waited in the car."
Ok, guys I'm completely and utterly wrong. Spank away. You're not wrong at all, Tex. Why does anyone have to be wrong? You wrote a very good article explaining why you feel the way you feel. That plus your mom's comment on post #19 should be enough for anyone. Whether a parent spanks their kids or not, they should respect your decision not to. I have no kids so my opinion has less weight. If I were to have kids I don't know if I woul
Our imperfections are what make us. I like my imperfections all 3 million of them. Nice job, Donna, but what do I know I'm flawed.
It is all about sacrafice in the name of love. We, both men and women, give up a lot to become something more. I think once we can acknowledge this, the relationship we form because so much sturdier. It took me awhile to learn how to sacrifice, and I'm so happy I did. The rewards are so much better. Great as always, mate.
I like the rhythm of this. It could be song lyrics, you know? I was thinking the same thing as I was reading it. I like the way it flows. Very good, Dr.Don btw ... East of Eden is a very good movie.
What's with that Afghani? I agree with Shovel you husband should have shot him, or at the very least did some damage to him. I love the way Gavin thinks. I'm going to use some "God says" lines on Rose. We use to call one of my brothers Fathead. We even got him a football jersey with 'Fathead" on the back. Good article, Tova.
Pumpkin is doing much better because of the meds. She is looking well and appears to have more energy, which is great. That is great. I'm glad she's back in good health. Because I haven't been writing so much, I've been doing a lot more reading instead. I'm currently going through a Peter Straub binge. I never been much a fan of horror books, but your enthusiastic words has got me interested in Mr. Straub.<b
Summer's last gasp, I think. When I was younger I didn't mind cold winters. I loved being outside playing in the snow. Now I can't stand it. I hate driving in it. I'm glad it rarely snows here because people here can't even drive on dry pavement. Check it out and let me know what you all think. I listened to the 'live track' and I dug it a lot. I like your sound. I'm no expert on Aussie bands, but you guys
I enjoyed all three. The first two made me smile and think of Rose. 'Simply Be' was my favorite. Maybe 'cause it hits home the most. I like your style of writing. It's something I can't do. Sometimes you read articles in the writing section and you feel inspired, then there's those times you feel intimidated. Just curious, what didn't you like about your poems?
The Aminopterin was found on Wheat imported from China. and why are we importing wheat from China in the first place when we can grow it exceptionally well here? Heh, ya get what ya pay for... I was thinking the same thing when I read it. Don't we grow enough wheat here? What countries buy wheat from us? We need to keep our wheat here and let those countries get it's wheat from China.
Looking back and reading this, I can't believe this was inspired by a sludge metal song. With me I'm always surprised where I find inspiration. Very cool 'snapshot', Braeden. Hope you continue to find a muse.
redbandana is right. The box on the couch is Sideways. I got one more. American Beauty
Sanjaya lasts another week. I'll have to catch the reaction at VFTW! Not only is Sanjaya getting the vote from Vote For The Worst, but Howard Stern is telling his listeners to vote for him. Add that all to every pre-teen girl vote and you can see why he's still in the competition. Plus it wouldn't surprise me if some guys were voting for him just to see his sister. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/ju/T_JU/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 align="absmiddle
Here's some I found that hasn't been mentioned: Superfly The Game The Queen Daredevil Honey The Red Shoes Brick Wolf Iron Eagle Whale Rider The Illusionist Pootie Tang Go Shaolin Soccer Pi Scream Grease The Doors Gladiator A Good Year Hard Candy Scoop Of course, there's a few there I'm not 100% positive about.
Funny stuff. I was trying to come up with something positive to say. Some silver lining in all of it. Something to make you feel better, but sorry, you are a klutz. Every girl I know has, at some point, maimed herself with a curling iron Very true... th
Is what my kids do a lot – it has to be! Why else when I call them, ‘a thousand times’, and tell them to do something, they ignore me and keep on doing whatever it is they are doing, i.e., watching television, playing a game, playing with dolls, etc.; when I get testy, i.e., call their names out in full, raise my voice and demand that they do as I say or else, then they look sheepish and scramble to do what I asked them to do, saying “I didn’t hear you mommy”! <br
