Both things kind of go together. You get your driver's license and you have the drive to start your own business. Good luck with both. I think you're going to need it more in the driving department. btw .. turn off your turn signal already.

---A lot of us had foolish thoughts like that when we were young. Children take a great amount of time and responsibility. But the investment is well worth it.-- My brother and his wife has done a terrific job raising my nieces. My sister-in-law is such a loving mother. As scary as it may seem at times I say this without a bit of ego, I really think I would be a good father.

---Hopefully, we will be making a trip in the near future to see your nieces and nephews; I am sure your oldest niece will be very happy to see her favorite uncle.-- I can't wait! But again it probably freezing there right now. We might have to wait until it's warm enough to wear shorts, so sometime in late January or early February.

(This is Rose...just noticing and that I have posted under the wrong personl..yikes..sorry Dig) Tova~~It is wonderful to hear your heart for the kids. They are lucky to have you...and I think it is hilarious they tried to find you a husband... Keep it up because I am sure just like wine, you get even better with time!~~ Thanks, Tova; I like that last line! And yep, it was pretty hilarious th

Having grown up in NW Ohio I know the weather you speak of .. What's funny is I used to love it. I loved sledding, and just playing in the snow. But as each year passed I started disliking it more and more. Now I rather have year around weather of 60 to 80 degrees. Another thing about Michigan (well at least the Detroit area) is the potholes. Only about 2 million of them. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/JU/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN

I know everyone has bad days. Some worse than others. I also know that some bloggers in here have had bad days, far worse than anything I should be complaining about. But the day I'm going to talk about isn't a complaint at all. Here is the day I experienced. About a week ago I had a miserable day. Nothing major happened. It was just one of those days wher

Even though I'm the Ernest T. Bass of the community I do like it here. What's funny is that some articles have come part of conversations with my GF, and though I don't write or comment too much I do find myself here at least once a day to read all those articles, some which I find funny, interesting, insightful or inspiring. nice article, Doc

Too bad Alias got cancelled, but you know soon as it was moved to Thursdays it was doomed. I wished it had stayed on Wednesdays after Lost. Instead they put on an overrated Invasion there. Just pick a night and keep it there instead of constantly changing days. Fox did the same thing with Arrested Development and NBC did the same with Scrubs. It's nice that they will let Abrams finish the series, but if he didn't make Lost do you th

--Well, my beloved Terps fell to the Gonzaga Bulldogs yesterday. They hung tough through the first half, but couldn't pull it out in the end.-- Adam Morrison looks so slow, doesn't play defense, but at the end of the game he's the leading scorer. Gary Williams uses these early games to see the character of his teams so that by the time the ACC games start he'll have his team playing up to their capability. If that game was played in March Maryland would've won. I hope

Happy Thanksgiving, FS! I don't even like going to the mall when it's near empty so NO WAY do I want to go on Friday. I'll be spending it like I always spend it on Thanksgiving and the day after, right on the couch watching football and feeding my face. If you do go, good luck finding a good parking space. Good luck with road rage, and I hope you don't punch out any other shoppers. Some do tend to be rude. <img src="http://images.sta

---"Second Helping of Sheehan for Thanksgiving" Well, that proves she is a turkey!--- I thought she was part ham, too. ---"By Larry Fine" Who is the editor, Moe?--- I thought the Stooges worked for the Times. ---"A Troubled Outlook for Parasites"--- Well with all those car bombings, it doesn't look good for any Paris site.

As a joke they should name it Soylent Green. Or they could name it Northern Outback Territorial Meat, Australian Distributed & Canned Overall the World. Just so they could use the acronym NOTMADCOW.

Insightful article, Mig. A friend told me she has never masturbated. She's 28. I told her I didn't believe her, and that I felt much more woman masturbated than polls or surveys say. Another friend told me that she first discovered masturbation at a very early age. She was born in 1969, and told me that she remembers when she first discovered it she noticed that Richard Nixon was on TV resigning. ---I know a lot of guys don't want t

---My husbands brother (who has a wife and 2 kids) alternate. They go to Thanksgiving at one side then Christmas Eve at the other each year, then switch the next year. That way they get a full holiday with each and don't have to rush around. That is a very good point. If we are going to go somewhere for a holiday, I would so much rather spend the majority of the actual day there and settle in rather than constantly watch the clock and make sur

MM, let me get this straight. Every guy here wants to be your friend, every woman likes you, and you get tons of responses (sometimes averaging 100) and now you want to be featured more?? Damn, don't make me hate you. On a serious note, featured articles does not equal the best. It's only what a few think are the best. Don't let being featured or not being fe

There are so many good TV shows on DVD. I love the HBO shows, 24, the Family Guy, the Simpsons, Lost and many more. If you are looking to buy some DVD box sets you might want to try ebay. I recently bought Law and Order Seasons 1, 2 & 3 all for $45. I love that they have complete seasons of shows on DVD. Shows I completely missed I now can enjoy. Shows like The Gilmore Girls or Veronica Mars, which I wanted to see but would forget a

When I was in school we had to read Slaughterhouse Five and Breakfast of Champions. I made it through both of them, but found both to be very boring reads. I told my teacher what I thought and was told it was because I lacked the brain to appreciate works of one of the greatest American authors of all-time. I'm glad to see some people who's "brains" I do respect hold the same contempt for his writings. Doc, to me Vonnegut reminds me of my grandfather, who as he got older would
