--"They say we didn't win the election last time because of moral values. The opposite is true."-- Well if he means opposite in the first part then he is saying the democrats won the last election. But if he is saying the last part is the opposite then isn't he saying the democrats didn't win because of immoral values. But maybe instead of the above statement he really meant to say this, the opposite: We didn't say they did lose the

--"No way, I like a blog with substance. And you write in a conversational style that kept me reading all the way through the end. Great job! Great story too! I'll be back for more." Thank you so much for your kind words, xtine.
Gideon, I forgot to add this. It's David Letterman's Top Ten list from last night's show. TOP TEN RAFAEL PALMEIRO 10."Pete Rose bet me I wouldn't do it" 9."There wasn't a Starbucks around and I needed a quick pick-me up" 8."I enjoy the fresh minty flavor" 7."Hmm, I lost it in the sun?" 6."Somebody must've slip
First let me start by saying that I am no fan of having steroids in any sport. Be it our national sport or some grade D sport shown by Fox Sports, or any of the ESPN networks at 3 am to fill in time. But if I had a vote I would vote Rafael Palmeiro into the HOF. The brand of baseball we seen for the last 10-14 years will be forever known as the Steroids Era. No one will ever know who took them or not. You mean to tell me that only Barry Bonds, Jason Giambi, Pudge Rodriguez, Mark McGwire
--"Lawyers are just prostitutes that don't know how to give pleasure when they are screwing you!" too funny. And as my "friend" would say, "You don't appreciate either one until you actually need one."
--Mapquest. It is cheaper.-- I been on that site for every damn thing since moving. And taking the credit too. My GF told me, "Wow you know all the streets already. You found the restaurant with no problem." and I was like, " Yeah from all the driving I done since I got here I retained every street I ever saw in my brain." She was very impressed. So thank you, Mapquest! <img src="http://images.stard
--Gideon's Rule #3,672: When asked for directions, ALWAYS give directions, even if you have no clue where the place is.-- What's funny is before I moved I ALWAYS did that. But for some strange reason I been more friendlier since I moved here and I don't like it.
--"Welcome to JU uDigit! Hope to hear more stories."-- Thanks, Jill. I hope to write some. I'm such a procrastinator though. Look how long it took me to answwr you.
Doc, at first I was going to write that I was going to go to McDonalds and have the biggest burger they sell. Then I remember PETA was talking about the selling of CATTLE. So I decided to go to a steak house where you can get actual meat and have the biggest steak instead.
It's funny how kids think sometimes and how you can use it to joke or kid with them. I was at my parent's house one day and he brought home some fried chicken for dinner. My little niece asked him, "Papa, what you got in the bag?" My father said, "My supper." "Oh what is it? Can I have some, Papa?", my niece said. My father said, "Sure! It's dead bird." My niece screamed, "Ewwww! No way! Ewww!! I don't eat dead birds, Papa" "Yo
--"Maybe he was looking for Dire Straits.." Maybe, SATYROBE. But no matter which one he was 'So Far Away' from either.
--"I got quite a laugh out of this blog udigit! This is quite a good start for you. Welcome to JU!"-- Thanks, fs. It's good feeling welcomed.
--"um..do you know where Dyer St is? funny blog...Welcome to JoeUser!"-- Thanks, Mano ... btw I still DON'T know where Dyer St is .. I need to buy a map.
--"Flirt."-- --"Funny Story." Yes, I am and thank you, InBloom.
--"Liked it a lot. Keep on."-- Thanks a lot, NickyG.
--"I think you should have split it into 2 stories. But they did get a chuckle out of me."-- Doc, I think I should have, too. But I'm glad you got a chuckle.
I never was a huge Junior fan but I do hope he is back. He definitely deserves the Comeback Player of the Year. I do think he's all the way back and will finish his career on a high note. When he was doing his thing in Seattle he was so good. He made everything seem so effortlessly. He was the best player of the 90s. The big WHAT IF is what if Paul Allen could have bought the Mariners and keep all the stars together. They might have one at least one World Series. <img src="htt
Okay this is officially my first blog. I don't really know if it belongs in the 'humor' section but at least I thought it was funny. If it should be in another section, sorry about that. Yesterday I went and got my haircut. I needed a haircut desperately too, considering I looked like a combination of Cousin Itt and Don King. I went to the place where I got
--I think her version of Cleopatra is better than Elizabeth Taylor's version.-- Definitely better. Way better. Taylor's version was a borefest. I liked 'It Happened One Night' and 'Midnight' too. I would also add 'Drums Along the Mohawk' and 'The Palm Beach Story'. Another movie I liked with her was 'It's A Wonderful World'. I taped it off of Turner Movie Classics last year, and it was pretty good.
Nobody ever accepts blame anymore. I bet some blowhard politician will come in and suggest the mining company come up with a solution or he will. When ask the simple question to the developers and homebuyers, Why didn't you do some checking after all the mining company has been there 30 years? Maybe the developers and homebuyers will use the "twinkie" defense. Your home is only of the most important things you will ever buy so ummm how about doing some
Scandalous or not, I'm surprised more people hasn't spoken up over the use of "dumbass questions". Despite whatever you think of Orin Hatch (and I'm no fan) at least he said something that needed to be said. Shouldn't that be the case more often than not? And I don't mean Republicans calling Democrats dumbasses or vice versa. It would just be nice if someone in a particular party took another in his or her own party to task for wasting time with useles
Funny story .. wish I had it all on tape. Hey, Doc remember the woman from PETA in North Carolina that gave mouth-to-mouth to the squirrel who got hit by a car. Just think if it was that BALCO squirrel she tried it on.
Maybe if I start saving now I can have enough for the downpayment by 2009.

--"The people who are starting college this fall..."-- The one thing I always remember thinking of when I think back to the summer of the year I graduated high school is how much fun I had at such a cheap price. I remember I could go out with $15 and spend all night with friends having the time of my life and come home with most of the fifteen. It seems like when you were younger fun just came naturally to you. Now, unfortunately if I
