Stop opening it through stardock. Mcafee doesn't like that little splash screen. Go to your galciv2 directory and run the exe .

Well in theory, the inside of the spaceship should be pressurized- I mean, whats the point of forcing people to wear space suits 24/7 while inside the ship for months on end (it takes some time to travel from place to place, even with hyperwarp 3)? How would they eat? Miniature airlocks? How would they sleep? I mean, they could have some sort of emergency system (like in team fortress classic.... blue team scores... nerve gas released... secure protective suits

Bleh, this sounds too much like racing games, where the card in the lead is slowed down (or every other car gets a speed bonus). I rather like the idea of different technologies clashing. I want the new drengin superlaser to be the terror of the cosmos- that is, until I unveil the latest incarnation of my missile tech. Besides, you can only learn so much from observation anyway.

Morale is better. Think of all the relatively small planets you colonize in the course of a game. Will pop growth help those? Not much, if at all. Will morale? Yup. A morale bonus can keep those colonies from dragging you down and make it easier to get pop growth bonuses from high morale.
