About the only thing I could suggest for you to do Brad is to perhaps have specific support on the IRC server for skinning. Put #skinners on the IRC channel, have your top skinners in there giving help and support to the rest of us out, with the understanding that that is the sole reason for the channel. PS . Hankers thinks it would be cool too

The problem that I see is simple. You've bitten off more than you can chew. You've expanded in so many directions without having the proper resources in place. Skinning is what what makes of it. You don't have to *like* all the skins or skinners to appreciate the level of ability they have. I think I may have used the work of mabye 10% of the skinners on here. Does that mean 90% of the work on here sucks just because I don't run it? No. It's personal preference. Installed kubuntu 6.06 on my laptop ( toshiba satellite m50 Celeron-M 1.5Ghz/1GB RAM(128 MB shared ATI ). I have GRUB set up to dual boot Linux/Windows. If you have WB installed , turn off the feature that applies the wallpaper on startup it's in the WB options Then manually apply the wallpaper in question Questions: Are you running any wallpaper tools (e.g webshots) ? what size wallpaper? what resolution?
