Someone will always find a way to hack it off or change it. It's not a big issue, maybe after a few weeks of vista being released, a search in google would most likely bring up something useful.

I've talked with alot of mac users, even most of the few said they were disappointed with the 'Leopard preview' Nothing that would be functional, worse is that Apple proved me right. I'm getting a Mac pro, but I understand the diffrence between the two systems. Alot of users compare OS X against XP as if it were fair, but Tiger came out 2005 so comparing it too a system that came out in 2001 isn't a fair comparison. Compare Puma
Good thing I've got the IE Tab extention, works fine that way. It looks decent, though I've really gotten used to the old layout.
Anyone know if shadows have been enabled on alpha-blended skins yet?
It might put off a few users, but I can't say the system isn't a bit intriguing & stands out. I'd give one a try, though I'm a big FPS shooter type of guy, so I might just end up not using it as much as my pc. Either way, you can't tell me the system doesn't catch your eye, but as for names... Revolution > Wii (Anyday of the week, IMHO)
Neil: Up until now, DX9 cards have been needed, I understand that. First off, I was talking about a Geforce 4 MX Which is a DX8 card. I kept an eye on the news because awhile back I had that card. I'm not sure about the blur being able to be produced since the card ran the glass but couldn't produce the blur. Microsoft is aiming to have a glass UI for most part run on most computers, since most versions of Vista besides basic are going to tr
Venom339: Vista is pretty much feature locked now. Its highly unlikely you are going to see glass on machines that cannot currently handle glass or radical changes to how the DWM works. Its worth remembering that current MS plans have Vista totally finished in 6-7 months time. Alot o
It's still too early, remember that the second beta is due out late may. Until then we should just relax & let them take thier time, if you pressure microsoft to hurry, it'll only lead to something that has that unfinished feel. It is a good thing to point out the bad points though, just to make sure Microsoft doesn't over look any of problems. Still, it's not going to be massed released for about 9 months, it's plenty of time for them to s
If it's true I call dibs on taking Santa's jolly butt to court, I demand full custody of his workshop & 10 billion in stolen property, Those milk & cookies have to come from somebody's wallet.
The final release it way off, Microsoft has plenty of time to optimize it to run on most systems. Also most people don't know that, the glass effect & graphical UI will like be able to run off a DirectX 8 card. I've hearing alot of information that the real GUI elements will be held for DirectX9 cards, so in theory most laptops & desktops with a decent video card will have the effects seen in the CTPs so far. Can't say in too sur
many customers have expressed their interest to run Windows on Apple's superior hardware now that we use Intel processors Could this guy get anymore naive? I love the idea, though this guy makes it sound like an iMac would compare in benchmarks to a PC around the same price. Anyway like I mentioned ea
I was already running the bath water and plugging in the toaster before I read the part about brad & his boat, I always fall for these type of things I'm extreamely glad that it's a prank
Good points, Anyway one of the big reasons why I bought OD was because I had a friend tell me about the WindowFX beta. Basically three things made me want to get it: -WindowFX -WindowBlinds -Objectbar Once I actually bought the package I saw how much programs actually come with OD, It's a pretty damn good deal once you open SDC & check out the full list. I haven't regretted buying it for a second.<br
Thank for putting it in such a perfect perspective, just check out the time I posted the comment. I was just on one of those moods, and not having slept a decent night in the last week didn't help. But really, imagine the possiblities once Vista has been released, skins would be able to run off the 3D engine.
Your right, I did sound a bit rough. Sorry didn't mean for it to sound as bad as it did.
3D desktops have been around for a bit, tabbed browsers ....please!! Windows itself is nothing but a rip off from the original Mac OS. Shouldn't you be worshiping the ground Steve Jobs walks on. I'm sure the cult, I mean, pack will miss you.
I just purchased OD yesterday, checked out the beta & it was fine. But I did have an issue with some skins which appeared with the bottom half blackend, and some windows were stuck on a small size. The problem turned out to be the transitions, anyone had the problem?
Wow looks awsome Just to make sure, does the game become available at stores like Walmart, kmart, etc ?
Did you purchase WB5? Here check out this Link
I have an uncle that had the latest build, his computer could produce aero, but when I took a look around his pc. He had the personal style "smoke" he changed the glass opacity to 0% & contrast down to 0% as well. I looked around with the style applied & it was just awsome, I love the look & feel. Really dark, slick, & sexy I asked him wheater or
That's a shame, second time too
Ahh norton...I remember those days...bad times Now I just use McAfee, best antivirus/firewall I've had so far.
I've been wanting to subscribe, but didn't have the cash laying around.Since I'm still technically a minor (17 yrs old)I can't get my hands on a credit card/paypal I think. But on december I get my first paycheck from a job I recently got offered. First thing I'm going to do is get a subscription, even if it has to be by moneyorder, to wincustomize. Not only that but I'm going to try to contribute to this site from now and on. <br
