The most annoying glitch i've had with all the versions is that some single ships refuse to fleet up with any other ships. Noticed that these single ships are treated as a fleet of one. (can disband it too, but still won't fleet up) AND no it's not running into the logictics limit. Generally after a save/reload this gets fixed.
The one thing that bothers me is that I think at normal the computer gets hamstrung on it's economy. I think it should be just dumber, not actually handicapped. To get the AI using 100% of it's economy you need to set to inteligent, but then you also have a much smarter AI.
This could happen if you lose a planet right as it's finishing building that ship. i've seen that once where I hurried a build to defend a planet, and they ended up getting my ship & design. Which was bad, because it was in a weak spot of my empire, and now they had a very good ship.
Not to menition a stealth line of research that makes you harder to see. (Which was pretty good in the OS2 version back in the day) Another thing I've been thinking about is it would be cool if you/they could jam communications so that you might not get to see what happened to a unit, or a planet. Could work where a unit being jammed gets to move/attack last, and until then won't show what it can see.
Somewhat major bug i think, not sure why it isn't here. If you follow out the mass driver path, at the last singularity driver, you get the nano ripper. It is way way better than the previous techs, and i think better than the gravitons further along. Power goes from like 2 or 3 to 8. Seems like a bug too me. Unless there's some drawback to it.... I've won a few games by researching to there and going on a war path...
