Zoomba asked that the flame blogs stop. We should let it end, and if she wants to rattle on to herself, it wouldn't be out of character...

"This may be true. At least it's not completely innocent Iraqis, though. It's Muslim insurgents and terrorists who want a chance to die killing the Americans and Jews they hate beyond reason. Why? So they can get their 72 virgins. " The average person killed IS a Muslim. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 cla
jennifer1, it doesn't matter if it is on your blog or not to me. They told us to stop. Not make up, not apologize, not demand apologies, not have make-up sex. They told us to STOP. You kept right on, though. I understand that Brad felt it necessary to give your citizen status back because you couldn't post comments on your own blogs. I wish the site was working better, but it isn't. Don't pretend for a second that grinding into people BY NAME in multiple blogs is abiding by Zoomba
C ya, whip.
"Perhaps a chart would help. Open excel, copy and paste, click ok, look for the line that begins to fall in summer of 92, watch it continue to fall until 1997." Maybe you aren't paying attention to the assertion Sean made. The assertion was that higher minimum wage doesn't increase unemployment. The supposed "proof" was that unemployment was 5.
wtf... Obviously the threats of admins around here don't mean much. Dan is basically waving his butt at everyone saying he can do what he wants, Brad reinstates Jennifer WHILE she's got flame blogs going... What was the purpose of this warning again?
"Don't tell me Islam is noble and peaceful. It's a cancer." Ignorance is almost as ugly as hatefulness. Some people are cursed with both.
You should have an exceptions list in your firewall that allows various programs you choose to access the internet unhindered.
*points to Karma's post for Dan*
"The fact Saddam shot at our aircraft did not threaten the U.S. or justify the invasion." ...but "the expansion of communism" is... why do I bother?
This crime should carry the death penalty. Period. There's nothing ambiguous about it. It wasn't an ex-spouse in a custody thing. If this is found to be what it appears to be, then it should carry the heaviest sentence society has.
"All the wars that you listed except for the Spanish American war, which is a lot like Iraq, were taking place before we became involved and the posed a very real threat to our country." I defy you to explain to me how America was threatened in WWI, Korea, Vietnam, etc. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class=
Obviously you have a body of work, beyond the 8 years you site, to prove your theory. Please, if you would, cite the school of thought in economics that proposes that more money in the hands of the consumer actually lowers prices and inflation. What's that theory called so I can look it up? What economist said that if you raise minimum wage, unemployment goes down? Not even YOUR figures play out. You cite the 1990 and 91 minimum wage hike. Here's the result: <table cellpad
"by that logic,,,we are always in a "run up to the election" (your term) then as the house is up every 2 years." No... if you recall the house is the gerrymandered part of congress. Something like 80% of the house doesn't even face an opponent each election. Many of them haven't had an opponent in ages. The last election was a huge eve
"He already stated the first Gulf War was a "clear and present" danger to the U.S. Still waiting for that explanation." So, before he had made any threats, and before he'd fired on our aircraft, and before he'd tried to arrange the assassination of one of our presidents, THEN he was a danger. After firing on our aircraft, attempting an
Concession? You're really saying that there is no run-up to an election in the year before? No politicians were working it in 2003 or 2005?. You aren't seeing people declaring candidacy, raising money, etc., right now for the election over a year and a half from now? Apparently your main mode of operation in any disagreement is to say the opposite, even if it defies reality. For god's sake, don't turn on the news, your fantasy world will crumble, as there are campaigns already under
Wtf? lol, whatever. It's like someone demanding proof of gravity. Mmmkay, enjoy.
Saddam Hussein fired regularly on our aircraft. That, in and of itself, is more provocation that we had in some other wars.
No I conceded the second world war. How many others? Spanish American War? Nope, was completely fabricated. WWI? Nope, they sank a boat, but we lose boats, airliners, etc., all the time and don't consider it a direct threat to America. Korea? Vietnam? Grenada? Panama? The first Gulf War? Where do you get the idea that Bush is unique in making war without direct threat?
"no, there wasn't an election that particular year. you claimed "run up to the election" which was false." Yep, definitely, no run up to the 2004 election in 2003. No run up to the 2006 election in 2005. There most DEFINITELY won't be any run-up to the 2008 election in 2007, either.... You, maybe just a little crack? Every no
yep, it's ridiculous that you brush off the quotes because there wasn't an election that particular day, or because you believe Dems with a vested interest in their party counterparts winning wouldn't be playing to the upcoming election. Re: the blog being about Republicans... It sounded like the question was one of credibility. I can't see how Bush's opponents in this have any more than Bush. With the exclusion of a handful, all of them have played to the polls, not ideals.
"yeah, but you ignore that after the 96 and 97 hikes, none of that happened. and still, overall, the trend was down. but regardless, the other factors like inflation and prices are on my side as well." And you purposely pick this era because you know that in this time we created an entire new industry that created millions of jobs. Handy, huh?
You neglect to point out that inflation surged to over 7% after the wage hikes in 90 and 91. It didn't recover to 1990's level until 1996, and then we were in the bloom of the tech boom. If you look at the great depression, you'll find inflation and prices to be fairly low. Obviously, people losing their jobs and not having money causes prices to drop. When money is dumped on consumers unnaturally, then you'll see prices rise to meet their ability to pay. You take a single d
Eh... lol, the presidential election was in 2004. There was another election in 2006. I quoted from 2003 and 2005, respectively. Again, everything is a vacuum. If a Democrat isn't running, then there can't be anything politically motivated in their rhetoric before the biggest congressional election in years. What was I thinking, obviously the only ones with an interest in an election are the ones running, not the bulk of their party who are seeking the white house or a majority...
"Only a FOOL would equate Iraq with WWI, WWII The American Revolution, Korea or the Our Civil War. Dream on you FOOL!"/ You are asserting that it is morally wrong to go to war unless there is a direct threat, col. Then, when faced with the fact that we have gone to lots of wars without being directly threatened, you say there's no comparison and
