So . . . what good would a bigger military have done, exactly? Could the US Army have prevented this? Or the Navy? Would they have detected the terrorists before they acted? Sure, it could mean a faster and bigger retaliation - but nobody seems to know who did it for sure yet, and maybe they never will. Perhaps there should be a "don't announce this update on the newest additions" checkbox on the update form. I'd kinda like to update a few attributes on "Docking Station", but I only put it up a few days ago, so it'd look like I was just trying to get more downloads.

What are the limits on skin previews? I keep on getting: aspSmartUpload.File error '800403f2' The file : 'C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds\DigitalAge\DigitalAge.gif' is not allowed to be uploaded (Error 1010) /upload2.asp, line 120 The file in question is an animated GIF, size 65 Kb (I tried one 46 Kb big with the same results).

Why wouldn't a Napster-style thing - or better, a Gnutella-style thing - work? You could end up with a "Distributed Skins Network". No worries about a skin going out of distribution - *if* people thought it was good enough to keep, they'd have it, and even if the initial site went down it would still be there. I don't see the problem. You're giving people what they want. You're making them happy. People *like* XP wallpaper, possibly because MS prices it high enough that not everyone can afford the real thing. Trying to force people to like stuff that seems good to you (but which they *don't* like) onto others isn't the way to please them, and in the end, there are obviously more of them.
