Motion? I uploaded Selene, Wood_Deco, and much of the Liniation series to a storage place and downloaded them successfully using web folders. I did the same for rustic and it shows up in the folder but not in the windowblinds configuration utility. What do you think went wrong? Thanks, GM

Well, you could try an experiment. You could try to drag the system files out of the folder. You can always put them back later if you want. I think there are better ways of doing what you want to do, though. I never have a single icon on my desktop.

The singer is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, a Hawaiian man who was somewhat of a legend over here. It may seem familiar from "Finding Forrester" and various commercials. If you ever get a chance to listen to more of his music, I think you might like it.

Um... when you made that folder, did you drag things like you desktop, any system folders, stuff like that into the folder and not a copy or a shortcut? If you did, could you go to that folder and drag them back out? Um, maybe this is a dumb suggestion, but it sure sounds like something I might have done once.

I'll keep that in mind, Motion! I think this monitor is starting to show some OS ENVY! It wants a redo too! HEH... you know that pie that your system shows you to show how you are doing on space? I used to have only a sliver of space and a big used up pie, now I got a big pie with a tiny chunk taken out! And that's after downloading loads of stuff! I still have to visit my old computer and finalize some things there.

Whew.... new day, everything still where I put it. Since I reformatted my computer has stopped seeking the bigger monitor that I didn't get (BoXXi is right, a 15 inch monitor is a pain, when I saw that they were giving them away with new computers for just about $50 more I almost changed my order again). Sigh.... this is a gateway. I already reformatted it. I had it up three hours and poof! I wake up next morning and it is gone. I suspect it is abour 85% my fault. The other 15% were changes I made that they didn't format for before they shipped it. I am back with my usual 800/600 screen, for one thing. I am almost afraid to install things, though it would feel soooo good to have object desktop back. This day has been exhausting.... I don't make sense to those tech support people, and the

Thanks! er....I broke it already, back on my old one to take care of business and then to tech support. It worked last night but this morning, it won't do anything. I can't even get to system restore. It won't even turn off. > ah well, this is frustrating but I sure learn a lot.
