Hi sig101. Actually, the program has a function where you can disable the popup disabling by holding the control key, but I cant get that to work for me. I think, maybe, if I could take more time. Thanks for mentioning the hosts file, though. I used that before with success, and I think I will look it up and apply it again. I had forgotten. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.g

I just wanted to say that the new version of web blinds works great. I hadn't been using it (but I really wanted to for the popup control) because it blocked the popup message reply boxes elsewhere. They work fine now. Also it was a little unstable previously, but it seems a lot better now. Seems you ironed out all the problems... errrr.... except maybe the scrollbar doesn't skin. Good job! Thanks very much! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/hot.gif" border

Actually, MSN made a good screen saver called Bliss. It is made for XP and matches their bliss wallpaper. It is free, and I can't understand why they didn't include it with XP. It is a realistic depiction of a grassy field, blue skies and drifting clouds. http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/pro/downloads/bliss.asp I guess you can guess that I love the screensavers. <A HREF="https://www.

The thing about Wincustomize is that it is more than just skins and Icons. It is a community of people! And some of us have big, kind hearts and minds that are full of years of experience and skill.... all that can get kind of big and bulky... sometimes we do take a long time to absorb. Even for the best IP! And lookie! I even got a pretty bauble to put in my message.... <A HREF="ht

Well, I got e-mail back from Synthesoft and they are indeed infected with a virus (I didn't know that could happen to entire ISPs, but they said that is what happened). This thread made me remember another old classic... the Electric Screensaver! http://www.geocities.com/Paris/LeftBank/1140/electric.html Tarkus, I really like that plasma screensaver that is on Really Slick Screensavers! Thanks for the link. I am still exploring the other ones.

I have to confess to some more.... I used fumble for awhile. I was brand new to communities, and message boards. I had a community called fumble.com. I grew out of that name and deleted the community. Also, too many women in our community thought fumble was a boy and had crushes on her. Then, I needed to have someone to come in and shake our message boards up a little, get them moving, so ThunderThreads was born. She did her work and was retired, though I could call

I used the psychedelic screensaver for years. You know what just happened? I went back to that site to redownload it again, and get the URL. They have a really neat one called hypnogenic screensaver. That was the last thing I installed before I turned my new computer off. The next day I had to reformat. Well..... now I redownloaded it and NORTON popped up and said that KLEZ was in there! Maybe that is what happened last week, KLEZ got in because I didn't have Norton set up correctly (I am

Try dumping your offline history and if all else fails defragment if you need to. Mostly, if this is just a recent problem, I would reboot first, then do all that (after a cold drink and a walk). gm errr those are only things I do that help sometimes. You can change if it opens in a new window or not in the internet options.
