I gotta tell ya, playing around with Stardocks' Beta's have been almost as fun as playing the final version. Just this Kats' opinion. Just as soon as I got some travel monies, I bought the expansion, beta or finished, all the same for me as far as Stardock products go. W/R Suralle Straykat Kat Lord @ Large

On tech speeds, I play on slow in gigantic mode. I agree to that this seems to be more "normal" from DA to TA. However, I dump a heck of a lot of resources, in both race configuration and planetary development to research. Could be why I win more technical victorys than political or military. How about them 10's and 100's of billions of folks though, working to the common goal (I know, sounds almost socialistic), seems to me that the speed of research would be faster and comp

I am forced to remember a conversation I had back in beta at the dawn of Avatar... about miniaturization and being able to add the ability via points at the modification of the race area and was told... sorry no quotes... by Frogboy of all folks... Not sure why, love the newest version, but for the second time in Twilight, my uhm - "Electroncists" uncovered a secret panel, decoded it and pushed the button. Don't worry, I have had them drawn and quartered, shot, hung by the tail etc. etc... However, unlike the first time where I had just begun a game and hadn't started preaching to the other races, I wasn't spread out like the last game. The last game had a seperation between my home area and a second (ex-Drengin) area when the P

Actually in TA you can steal a tech must earlier than DA, I have "acquired" techs with as low as medium levels of espionage, with only 2 or 3 spies in place. Other times though I have went in game years with 10 to 15 spies and advanced espionage without so much as a glimmer of "we are onto something". Spies also are not only good for economical reasons but morale. Something to be said about information warfare, which helps on two sides of the coin, as I have heard some folks that do n
