I love IconPackager and change it every time I change WindowBlinds. It's true there are few packages introduced these days; however, there are so many great ones already listed on WinCustomize that you should be able to find a style that works. I currently have 67 styles available on my computer.
I agree there are a lot of quality packages out there. It's just that some of them don't have live folders,

I like the app, but the actual updates to existing packages & creation of new packages is more of a trickle these days...

The sky was green, the grass was blue, & little chirds were burping in every tree... Sorry, that was an old radio station lead in where I used to live. =D I'll have to dig up some of my old stuff... Need a hazmat suit for the amount of dust it's gonna be covered with...

Considering how "easy" it is to quickly play an album in iTunes, are you surprised that the "Resume" button actually doesn't do what you expect? Apple could take a lesson from MS in some areas. Like how easy it is to play media with the Zune software. *gasp* I'm in the same boat as you right now. In a hotel with a crap connection for another week. I think it's a single T1 for the whole hotel... Needless to say, it times out a lot, e
I'm job hunting, so most of my time is spent trying to find gainful employment.
Yeah, I've gotten that just last week. On the "corporate" skin included with WB no less.
I don't have any issues with things showing through, but I am having issues with Astra not resizing correctly if WB is attempting to apply skins to it. I'm gonna have to find a way to record a movie of the odd behavior & submit a ticket, because it's definitely weird.
Ghos said: Its your mistake dilmonen for upgrading over your existing Vista. It is never recommended you do that no matter how good the beta. Especially where no company has officially said their software works correctly on Win7. I like the direction that Win7 is going and it is very usable. Interesting to read Frogboys notes as he uses it. Especially with the progress of Stardock programs to use on it.
Ah, so by performing my duties as an official beta tester for Windows
IconPackager definitely doesn't work right now. Unfortunately, all my icons are toast after upgrading a Vista Ultimate 32-bit machine to Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. Since I can't get IconPackager back on there, I can't fix my icons. Hopefully a beta version that works on 7 will show up soon.
the need for bigger pantsNot that theres anything wrong with that
unless the doc tells you to lose 50 pounds... that's not cool. :SNIFF!: and by OD up there, I mean ObjectDesktop, not ObjectDock... Texas de Brazil can get pricy if you go several times in one week... lol
i've bought multiple skins & see no problems with them. now, if the skin gets to something outrageous, like 19.99 (act now, operators are standing by), then we'll have to start a war... or something. ;) seeing as how i've spent more on lunch than what the top end version of OD costs, i really can't complain about getting something for the money (besides several pounds & the need for bigger pants). seriously? 10 cents for an mp3? not sure where he's getting that from, but that means
What a shameless plug of their upcoming skin...
Since I can't seem to edit my post: The reason I want to use the substyles or access the skin properties is because I use double height taskbars & most themes don't account for that. This one is no exception. The system tray is taking up too much real estate because it's only putting the icons into two rows instead of three...
You need Mycolors or the theme manager installed because the WB is encrypted.
I've got that installed as well, but still can't view the images & also can't apply anything other than the Vista default skin for some reason.
Well, downloaded & extracted to use with WB, but can only apply the "default" Vista theme from it. Can't apply the Performance one & can't even view any of the files. They all look like "static" when trying to check them out with an image viewer.
Is there anyway we can have both SKS 5 and SKS 6 installed at the same time? I realize that you were able to do that with the beta, but, can you do it with the release version? I did not install the beta version...was waiting for the release version to come out.
I've got both installed at the same time.
Can the final convert XP msstyle files?
I'd like to know this too. That's why I still have SKS5 on my system.
I would like it if there was an option to have UAC remember applications & used a checksum to match them. I keep getting prompted by UAC for things like Process Explorer, Computer Management, or Neverwinter Nights 2, as examples.
I've been having problems with it saving custom file types into my packages. I can't save PDF, ISO, MDB, XLS, and a few other types. I can change them and have them apply within a package, but I can't save the package and have them included....
To me that was a totally obvious conclusion. Too bad most people are going to scream the author is a 'fanboy' now.
