Missing Text in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I just downloaded the Quantria WB. I wonder at its features and colorization but have two problems with it. First, the black typed in text on extremely dark backgrounds is unreadable. This was mentioned in several comments about Quantria. Second, when using IE & thunderbird the text in several drop down boxes is missing. This already seems a relatively frequent occurence for me; but when I read the comments on Quantria, no one else mentioned it. Am a 70 year old relatively novice

Thks a lot. I'm an oldie who pulls teeth everytime I try to change a pixel's worth on a downloaded theme. With your instructions on scripts I feel I just might be able to get one done sometime in the future. Right now I'm at the stage where I am trying only to: 1. Rename shortcuts (actually I can get the new name in a preset color and size, but it reverts to the old name on mouseover). 2. Rename icons. Can get a new icon by clon

Loaded DesktopX 3 and really like it. Loaded several widgets and new themes from the Web. Read development instructions and tried to modify themes (mostly to either change or add programs on my PC) and ran into a brick wall. Have spent several hours daily for several days and gotten nowhere. Well, did get a tiny text item on a new desktop and then couldn't touch it with a stick.
