If you don't mind waiting a few days after release, you can pre-order at Amazon and they will ship you the disc for $49.99. Free shipping, no sales tax. It will save you the $14.99 that MS charges. Edit: Just called the MS Store to cancel. They offered to ship the disc for free. So there's another way to go if you've already pre-ordered it from them. :)

Looking at this and many of your posts in the past, you seem to have a lot of problems that someone with your experience should be able to figure out. From one of your earlier posts... "I work in IT and consider myself a very experienced techie". If that is the case, you should know that the Support staff is who you should be talking to and not ranting about this and the possible use of pirated software in the "General Discussion" forum.

When I upgraded to OD+ through Impulse, it uninstalled OD free first. Haven't had any problems on Vista or Win 7 with it.

I'm assuming you have Windows 7 slider? It's working really well here. Most recent skins I've tried only seem to require small adjustments so far. :)

I use OD on RC 1. I run it on the top of screen, but tried it on the bottom and it works fine there too. Sorry, no answers for you.
The standalone ObjectDock install said it was not compatible with Windows 7, but I installed Impulse and installed the free version of OD from the Impulse menu and it works fine. :)
