The line 14 error is usually when bmp.100, the background image, is a .jpg or some other file format that has been renamed to .bmp and is not a true .bmp. Go to the logon folder...C:/Program Files/Wincustomize/Logon Studio/"name of logon", and open bmp.100 in Paint or any graphics program and save the file as bmp.100. That should solve the problem. :)

If you have say, a 1024x768 wallpaper, you need to crop off the bottom 100 pixels and use that for the bottom panel, and the 1024x668 remainder for the center and top panels. Whatever size wall you are using, the bottom 100 pixels, or whatever size you set your bottom panel as, need to be cropped off the wall and used as the bottom panel. Hope that helps. :)

I've made hundreds of logons and have never seen or heard of that problem. There's also nothing in the logon files that would cause it. The only thing I can suggest is downloading the latest drivers for your Video Card. And maybe reinstalling Logon Studio. Other than that, I really have no idea. Good luck, and let us know if you get it fixed. :)

Cavan and Bichur are right. A line 14 error is a background, or center panel error from renaming a .jpg or .gif or some other format to .bmp. Open the image you want to use as the center panel in Paint or some other graphics program and save it as .bmp_100 in the logon folder as a 24 bit bitmap. :)

Try opening the Logon in the Logon Studio editor and setting the center panel to "Stretched". Sometimes it will work fine, it depends on the logon and background. :)

Logon Studio creates a file called .logonuiX.exe that it uses in C:\Windows\System32 as the logon. When it's uninstalled or deactivated, Windows will use logunui.exe as the logon. It doesn't mess with any system files. You clearly have some problem with your system files. It's a simple program and can not cause any harm to anything.

The logon you are trying to use is a heavily modified logon that works with Logon Studio. Logon Studio will import logonui.exe logons that are consistant with what Logon Studio can produce, but this particular logon will not import correctly. You would be better off using a .logonxp version of this logon made for your resolution and you should have no problems. I'm pretty sure there is a .logonxp version of this logon here at WC, and if not check at Deviant Art. I k

First off, Logon Studio uses .logonxp files, not logonui.exe. And leave a link to the logon you are trying to use. The type of logon you have posted in your picture is not a normal Logon Studio type logon, and they are also not resolution independant. What res are you using? If you leave a link to the logon, I can check it out and see what might be the problem. :) And if you want to use logonui.exe files, download Logon Loader or Tuneup Utilities.
