What logon did you download? Leave a link if you can. As far as making a logon for widescreen, you make it the same way as for normal resolutions, you just need to use a wallpaper that is the same resolution as you use. I have made a few using 1920x1200 wallpaper which work with all widescreen resolutions..(well, most...I don't have a widescreen monitor but I've been told and seen screenshots of them). <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle"

The people complaining about Vista's price are more than likely the people who will spend $30 a week at Starbucks and $40 a week on fast food or a couple of pizza deliveries without a thought. Consider what you're getting out of Vista for the price and years of use you will get from it and the price is no big deal. Cut out a couple of coffees and a pizza a week and it's paid for in a month.
They get stupider every day...
Yeah, I'm not sure what is the problem if you can't make one from scratch either. Vista Plus by Adni isn't made with Logon Studio. If I open it with the LS editor, it defaults to looking just like a regular LS logon...top and bottom black borders, the blue wall in the center, and the userpanes in the rightcenter just like they would look if you made the logon with Logon Studio. But at least it still works, a lot of logons like that one or like mine will not work at all if they are opened at all
You should take it as "Why the heck did I install McAfee?" Might as well put Norton on it too and then just use the computer as a very large paperweight..
What are the names of the logons you are trying to edit. And how are you editing them...do you open the logons in the Logon Studio editor? All of the logons I make and pretty much every one you see with the center panel or "splash" cannot be edited or even opened with the LS editor or it will corrupt the logon file and they won't work. Those styles of logons have to have the bmps edited by opening them from the logon folder itself and any other changes, such as fonts, font colors etc have to be
IE7 and BitDefender should have nothing to do with LogonStudio. Do the 3 Logons that come with LS work? Are you having problems will all new ones you try? You say the problem is all of a sudden. Did they work before?
The User Account box can be moved anywhere in the logon, but you need to know how to change the coding in the uifile. It can't be done in Logon Studio, only by recoding the files themselves. And no, the white password rectangle cannot be made transparent. You could use a black rectangle for bmp 102, which is the password rectangle frame, and the part that is white now will still be white. It's a limitation of XP more than Logon Studio I believe. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Sm
thearmbut has 3 wallpapers in his gallery. What are you downloading?
Yep. 5.01m[b].017 is the latest.
The majority of Windowblinds don't have an icon package with them. Some come with wallpapers, but very few come with icons.
Download Stardock Central enter your email and the serial they emailed you, and download it all from there.
I'd say they've probably been removed by the author. And they are 6 and a half years old..I'm sure there are newer better themes available.
Summary view is the best for me as far as keeping up with new posts and being able to help if I can easier and quicker. The forums are really coming together very nicely!
I'm just making an educated guess (well, kind of educated) that as long as you have put your registration info into SDC and cross-referenced it here at WC, you are done. As far as the dial-up, there should be no problems at all with different servers. Just have fun and enjoy!
Well you have me stumped. I create a lot of logons and do a lot of coding in the uifile, and the line 47 error doesn't make much sense. You shouldn't be getting any errors with the 3 that come with LS so I have to assume it's something on your end. As long as you are using the English version of XP and are not on a domain, I don't have an answer. Is there anything unusual with your setup? Or is this just a home personal computer not connected to any network or domain. Maybe someone with sim
There must be some way to filter this stuff. As for the post itself, people actually waste their time thinking about and then writing about all that garbage? Hell, go watch a half hour sitcom, it's more enjoyable and just as worthless as this post.
If it's happening with the original logons also, I would uninstall and reinstall Logon Studio. I can't think of any thing that would be causing it. And you are using XP right?
Another possibility is are you using a non-English version of XP. Logon Studio will not work with all languages.
A well set up RightClick menu can get you anywhere on your computer or open any program extremely fast. Enhanced file dialog can also save a ton of time when set to your needs. And of course ObjectDock is always another quick way to open a program. But RightClick is by far my most used for saving time.
And oh, by the way...it's AWESOME!
I turned off "Show pre-release versions" and 2.00.008 showed in SDC. With it checked, it was still showing 1.99.
You need to download and install Icon Packager
My personal page is too personal, it won't even let me look.
