I've used that method for packs of dock icons and it worked great. I imagine it would work the same for an IP theme also. Just different ways to try things..sometimes one works and another doesn't.

Yeah jazzy, you have a different problem that I have no idea about, but from what Donna was saying...she missed a step. It took me a while to figure out changing the name the first time too..I was stuck thinking the program was messed up. And glad it worked for you Donna!!

Donna, when you click on "Recolor Package", the "Ok" button will grey out. Rename the IP in the box showing, or add a word after it, and the "Ok" button will come back and let you continue.

Are you still trying it with the first iso you downloaded or did you download it again and try? If you are still using the first one I still believe it's bad no matter how it checks out. It's not a big deal to burn an .iso and any of the programs you used should have been fine. And also you tried on your wife's computer, so it's not hardware related. The logon will only work right at the resolution of the wall or lower when set to fixed size. If you use a 1024x768 wall, it will shrink up at 1280x960 or 1280x1024 if it's set to fixed size in the center panel. If you set it to stretched, it will work at larger res, but sometimes it will show white spots all over and you need to change the code in the uifile to make them go away. I still think there's a problem with the .iso. SuperISO burned it just fine, and it has let me know before if there were problems with other isos. Vista install autostarts and install great...I've done it about 7 or 8 times after Vista screwed itself up somehow and I had to reinstall. It may be due to trying to install drivers not compatible and messing up the Vista registry. Either way, after a couple of days

cangrejero, to make the wall fullscreen in the logon, you need to crop the bottom of it and use it as the bottom panel. So if you are starting with a 1024x768 wallpaper, set the top panel to "false", leave the bottom panel at 100px, and then in your graphics editor crop the bottom 100 px of the wall and save it as the bottom panel, and the remaining 1024x668 would be used for the center panel. Hi jazzy, I just tried to recolor NextOS and had no problems at all. Latest builds, same as you have. I highlighted NextOS in IP, clicked on "File, Recolor Package", Icon Developer opened, I clicked on the "Recolor Package" button, gave it a new name and then recolored and saved. Closed Icon Developer, clicked to close IP and it asked if I wanted to save changes, clicked "Yes" and it closed. Reopened IP and the recolored theme was there and worked fine. You may have a corrupted download. There was nothing special I needed to do...it was a regular .iso that I burned with PowerISO and it installed with no problem at all. Or maybe a problem with your burner. Good luck.

You just need to press the "Export" button on the front of Logon Studio and it will turn it into a .logonxp file for you wherever you choose to save it. Or, if you want to do it the hard way, zip the logon folder you made and rename the .zip to .logonxp. A .logonxp file is just a .zip file that has had the extension renamed.

If it happens, I'll just have to leave everything behind and go live in a cave somewhere. What a disaster, a hard wired sound. How can I continue on when companies are running our lives and taking away our right to free sound? How dare they create an OS and include what they want in it? And I'll have to walk to the cave because all the car companies hard wired the "ding ding ding" sound when I leave my keys in and I couldn't customize it so I went back to foot power.

If you're trying to make the wallpaper full screen, (no top or bottom panel showing), set the top panel to "false". The center panel, or wallpaper will fill in the space for the top panel.
