Which version of Stardock Central are you running (Help->About SDC)? Which game is it that you're attempting to download? What kind of internet connection do you have? In many cases it is not actually that the email is flagged as spam, but rather that it is missing something important - blank subject line, blank body, etc. There is a checklist included in the auto-response you receive which details the possible missing information that could have caused the problem.

If you take a look within C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\documents\stardock\WindowBlinds , do you see Turbo listed within the folder there, or is it maybe located at C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds ? You will want this to be located at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\documents\stardock\WindowBlinds , so go ahead and move it over if it's not already there. [quote]noticed that if I reboot after trying to apply one of these addition
Open SDC and go to View->Show/Hide Applications. Is EFD unchecked in that list? If so, enable it and click OK. If it's already enabled, please send in the login.txt file from the C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral directory to [email protected] with a reference to this thread. -Mike [Stardock Support]
It looks like you're running WindowBlinds on XP. Only Vista has the service installed, so this may be why the service is unable to be run -- because it was written for a different OS. The message you're encountering is primarily caused by Antivirus/Antispyware applications that prevent WindowBlinds from starting up properly. You will need to ensure these are not running at startup after the first reboot after the install. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Always glad to help :CONGRAT: By the way, if you save the sig.bin file out of the IconPackager directory or any other application that requires activation (sig6.bin for WindowBlinds 6+), when you reinstall the application, just throw that back in there (before it goes to activate) and it will not need to activate again. The one exception to this is if you reinstall Windows. In that case, you will have to reactivate and generate a new sig.bin/sig6.bin. -Mike [Stardock Suppo
I have reset your activation counts for everything. You should be all set :CONGRAT: -Mike [Stardock Support]
My system: Q6600 EVGA 8800GT 512MB 4GB OCZ SLI ram I plan to throw a 9800GT in there when they're released, then use the EVGA step-up to upgrade my existing card to run sli. Also look forward to overclocking the cpu+memory+gpu at that time as well. :CONGRAT: The game runs at 1920x1200 and all effects enabled/maxed. When my entire fleet of 16caps+ship slots maxed is battling an opponent's fleet and I'm zoomed in up close, it does stutter a lit
Happy Belated Birthday!! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
Kevin: Do you have any security applications running in the background. With something like a .vbs file, it may be flagging that as something it doesn't want on your system. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Which version of SDC are you running? Help->About SDC Which OS are you using and does your user account have limited privileges? Do you have any security apps running that could possibly be interfering? If you right click Sins in the download list and choose Download and Archive, does that get the full file to you? (Use Ctrl+R to restore when it's complete) -Mike [Stardock Support]
Glad to hear it's made its way through :) Don't forget - https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/downloads.aspx :CONGRAT: Wold35Nine: How are things going for you? -Mike [Stardock Support]
Our servers hit 1Gb/sec not too long ago. Their fans are running at full to keep those things cooled, I'm sure :CONGRAT: -Mike [Stardock Support]
Which OS are you running? What kind of privileges does your windows user account have? Which version of SDC are you running (Help->About SDC)? Try downloading and archiving (Right click Sins) first, then choose File->Restore Archive ( Ctrl+R ) and see if that helps any. -Mike [Stardock Support]
I would also ensure you do not have any security applications running that may be locking files and/or preventing access. This can sometimes hang up the installer at some point. Something else you might try is right clicking on Sins and choosing "Download and archive". This will download the entire game to your system so you can then just restore it from an archive (File->Restore Archive Ctrl+R ) which will go much faster. If you still have a problem, please
I do not see your Sins registration under the account associated with this nickname. I would suggest contacting [email protected] or [email protected] to have this merged as Kryo suggested. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Uninstallation of the game depends on how you had installed it in the first place. If you used a standalone installer (i.e. the DVD) to install Sins, you will need to use Add/Remove programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista) to uninstall Sins. If you used Stardock Central to install Sins, you will need to use Stardock Central to uninstall it as well. Like psugar said, just select the product from the list of games and click the button in the bottom right corner
[quote]The concern was that the majority would complain if we charged pre-orders a day early without providing the final game. We will be re-evaluating this for the future, but clearly there's nothing to be done about it today.[/quote] The purpose of pre-ordering in this case (if not to access the closed Beta) was to ensure you would get a copy at your own convenience. We could have alternatively just said Sins would be available February 4th. Come back then to buy it. The way we did
[quote]one BILLION[/quote] I think it's an interesting idea and the sales figures may not be too bad to show off. It's possible that information may fall under confidentiality though. -Mike [Stardock Support]
The pre-orders are not yet fully processed. They are currently being processed in the order in which they were received. The pre-orders are scheduled to be finished by 8PM EST (GMT-5:00). -Mike [Stardock support]
The pre-orders are being processed in the order that they were received. -Mike [Stardock Support]
Of course this will only work once your order has been processed. An alternative location to have your account information ordered to you is at https://www.stardock.com/support Just fill out the E-mail Address field and click GO If you're interested in finding out your information yet another way , Create a Stardock.net account <A href="https://www.stardock.com
Probably one of the greatest incentives and reason people did preorder was because pre-ordering got you into the closed Beta, so you get a chance to play the game before it is ready. Many people have already had their pre-orders processed and received their information. It shouldn't be long now before everything is processed. -Mike [Stardock Support]
You did preorder the DVD according to your account, so you can expect that to arrive. It will probably take around a few days. Just being shipped standard ground shipping afaik. If you don't get it by Friday, you may want to contact [email protected] . They can assist with any inquiries regarding transactions, shipments, etc. -Mike [Stardock Support]
