But is there a way to extend this script to some kind of "toggle"? So when I click again it opens the windows before again?
Try MinimizeAll / UndoMinimizeAll http://www.herbystweaks.net/ . Copy the exe to anywhere you want and create a shortcut in Quick Launch.
Then why does my Device Manager say PCI?
I have an AGP card, and my device manager says the same thing. Try this: Go to Start menu and select run. type "dxdiag" in the run box and hit enter. When the DirectX Diagnostic tool opens go to the display tab and see if you have AGP Texture Acceleration enabled. If you do then you must have an AGP card. The chip type should also be displayed in that tab, my system has AGP listed there.&n

Open up WB Config and go to the "Settings" tab, then click the subsection called "change the look of an app". Look for an option called "Add per application setting". Click on this and a window will open up showing you your Programs folder. open the folder of the program that is having a problem and double click on its exe file. This will open another window where you can define how that particular app is skinned. There are a lot of options here t

Although I did install the Fences beta last night, I didn't have a lot of time to play with it. What I did notice was that I couldn't get the Fences to recolor. I could make it lighter or darker but the hue and saturation sliders didn't work for me. I will take a better look at it tonight, maybe I was missing something. I would really like to see shadowed text added if possible. The icons inside the fence had shadowed text labels which made the fence's labels look flat in compariso
The start panel uses 32px icons for the programs list on the left but 24px icons for the places list on the right. --- Any icons that are used in the start panel should include those sizes in order to display properly. Otherwise they will be resized to fit. Standard image sizes included in an icon file are 256, 96, 48, 32 and 16. --- Image sizes 128, 96 and 24 are not standard and you will have to select them in your icon program if you want them included.
ObjectDock Plus is going to get an update as well, to snap in with Fences.
Not really sure what "snap in" means but it sure sounds cool. Can't wait to see the finished product, I'm glad it will be compatible with XP too. :CONGRAT:
Enhanced File Dialog (part of ObjectDesktop) does exactly that. Unforunately, there is no trial version.
But is that still included with Object Desktop? It's no longer on the [link="https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/features.asp"]features[/link] list. You can also use [link="http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx"]tweakui[/link]. It's not as good but it does lets you pick some different locations from a dropdown list.
But what if someone wanted to take a tga from one of your windowblinds and save it as a png to use to make a skin for personal use?
Adam also wrote a seperate applet that will convert tgas to pngs and back again. It's still available here. [link="http://adam.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?SID=59&AID=74756"]WWW Link[/link] You could give that a try.
There was a post about them last year. [link="https://forums.wincustomize.com/148240"]XTREME Desktops[/link]
There was a poll about this in January and a lot of users recommended Paint Shop Pro. It costs about $80. [link="https://forums.wincustomize.com/173940/page/1"]Graphics Tool of Choice[/link]
I am not having any problems on my machine but that was a great post andrew_.
You could make the gradient so that it does not go entirely from top to bottom. Your image height is 448px. You could make the gradient start at the top and then fade out until it is gone at the 444th pixel. Then set your sizing margins to stretch the area between the 444th and 448th pixels. This way you are not stretching the gradient at all.

I posted this in the SkinStudio 6 Beta Feedback thread since I saw that one first.
Go to your skin folder and open up XPStuff.xp with notepad. Look for the following section and make sure it says "=1" after HideShadows. [StartPanel] HideShadows=1 If its not there just add it. (I tried to change the setting it in SS6 and it did not work for me. ) I hope that helps.

And what about Archiving
That's a good question.
I think it automatically tries the other server when the selected one fails.
I know this thread is about skinning Impulse, but I thought it would be fun to skin the WB Config. I used Images from the Synthek WB by danilloOc.
